KALGEN 351 BOILER COMPOUND

DESCRIPTION
KALGEN 351 is a phosphate based boiler compound widely used in major boiler systems operated at various pressures and condition. Best suited boiler compound when coordinated phosphate treatment is employed for internal boiler water treatment.

KALGEN 351 should be used together with suitable oxygen scavenger and other suitable boiler water treatment chemicals required for optimum treatment and efficient operation.

FEATURES

Corrosion inhibition: Controls pH and alkalinity of the boiler water in most suitable range to prevent corrosion. Scale prevention: work effectively against hardness to prevent hardness scaling on the heating surface, which will minimize the risk of boiler tube mechanical defects caused by scaling.

HANDLING AND STORAGE

For industrial boiler water treatment use only. Do not take internally. Avoid direct contact. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Wear chemical protectors when handling (example : apron, gloves, mask, goggles, etc.). In case of direct contact, immediately wash affected area thoroughly with clean water. Store in a cool and dark place. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.

APPLICATION METHOD

Dissolving & injection: By using boiler feed water, dissolve and prepare an uniform solution. Continuously inject prepared solution into the feed water line after junction point to the desuperheater or directly to the boiler drum, by using a chemical injection pump. Dosage: will vary depending on boiler capacity, operation conditions and target boiler water quality. Dosage should be determined and adjusted to maintain target phosphate ion concentration in boiler water.
