Aim of the Safety Officer Training Course

To familiarize trainees regarding the EHS policies adopted by companies in the Construction of oil and gas, Petrochemical/Oil and Gas Industries in compliance with the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC) RIGPASS Program, Drilling Industry Training (DIT) Program, and the International Association of Safety Professionals (IASP). In line with the global thrust towards safety awareness and environmental preservation, RODECH provides industry-required training programs specializing in strengthening the skills and capabilities of the participants regarding Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) International Standards. RODECH's training is a program designed to enhance their skills and gain the specialized training needed to elevate his/her professional career. The course aims to familiarize trainees regarding the Environment, Health, and Safety policies adopted by foreign companies in the Construction, Petrochemical and/or Oil and Gas Industries. DRILLING TECHNOLOGY (3days)

This module is for those who have little information or training regarding oil and gas drilling operations. It provides the trainees an extensive overview of the process as well as the technology applied during the implementation of drillings.

HYDROGEN SULFIDE ( 1 day)

This module enhances the awareness of the trainees who, at any given time, may be exposed to Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), one of the industry's most dangerous elements.

Trainees will learn how to use the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) unit to familiarize themselves of its basic operation and function.

They are also tested and must pass the examination provided specifically for this module.

. FIRST AID FOR THE MAN ON THE RIG (2 days)

This module is simplified and gives emphasis only to the most common types of injuries experienced in the field. Demos and trainee participation revolves around the proper application of first aid to specific injuries
