Dear Coordinator, Wish you Happy New Year 2013 I am by direction to inform you to send that the following details in connection with the functioning and renewal of study centres, School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore 641046 with immediate effect. Further, it is also informed to adhere the noted procedure strictly related to the functioning of your centre. 1. PCP Classes:a. The schedule of PCP classes / practicals should be sent to the Director in advance. b. School of Distance Education is receiving complaints about few centres regarding the conduct of PCP classes. Hence, there will be surprise visits by University authorities at any point of time. 2. Renewal of MoU:a. Consent letter for Renewal of MoU with DD for Rs.25,000/- should be submitted before the MoU expiry date (atleast 15 days before) b. Depending upon the past performance of the centre, a fresh inspection committee may be sent to review the status of the centre(performance related to PCP classes, payment of fees, infrastructure, etc) c. Any change of Address is done or pending with School of Distance Education. d. Before renewal, the centre should get performance certificate for the previous year. 3. Admission of Students:a. You are requested to send the admission details, list of students completed the degree, discontinued, pending fees from the date of approval of your centre to till date. b. Admission details strength for the year 2012-13 (course wise -as on date) c. Details about not eligible candidates, if any. 4. Payment of fees:a. All the centres are requested to pay the university share of fees (80% - 20%) without any delay. If there is any pending payment to university. Please furnish the details as per your records. 5. Examination and Results:a. Details about pending results, if any, as per your records (after full payment of fees and written the exams as per university rules). b. All centres are requested to submit the exam applications before the last date and keep in touch with exam section to avoid delay.

6. Centre share:a. The study centres share in the fee for the pending years is under calculation and it will be sent to you very soon. Important:All the centres are strictly informed to renew the MoU before the expiry of MoU date; otherwise, the results of the non-renewed centres may be withheld until the centre is renewed. As per the direction of our Vice-Chancellor, these measures are taken in the larger interest to regulate and revamp the existing system and to help the centres those who have genuine grievances. All study centres are requested to cooperate and co-ordinate with School of Distance Education Bharathiar University to successfully meet the objectives of the Government to provide quality Higher education to the needy and under privileged section of the society.
