2014 BRIDGE SCHEDULE

Bridge will again be offered at the Club in both Open Play and Group Lesson formats. Open Play will be held on Monday afternoons beginning June 2 from 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Open play will also be held on Thursday mornings from 9:30 to noon, beginning August 21 (after the lesson series has concluded). Couples Bridge will be held on Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m., beginning June 3, with the option of going out for dinner after play. You will play with the same partner for the evening. While registration is not necessary, we are asking you to let Donna or Don Nelson know if you are interested in playing on Tuesdays, as they have volunteered to coordinate this groups communication. Donnas email is donelson@hotmail.com. You may also contact either after Memorial Day in Door County. They would also welcome another person/couple to help them coordinate this group. No advance registration is required for either of these open play times. Just come as often as you wish. (Reminder, you do need to be a member in good standing with dues paid to play). Carolyn Kimbell is returning to teach the Thursday morning lesson series (from 9:30 a.m. to noon) beginning on June 12. This class will include eight lessons, and end on August 7. (Please note that June 26 will not be a lesson day, but an in-house review day with pre-dealt boards) These group lessons for experienced players will be based on the Standard American system, and will utilize predealt hands based on the lesson presented. The curriculum is designed to be most effective with regular attendance. We will not be able to accommodate a non-registered student filling in for an absent student. To enroll, please complete the form below and send with your check (made payable to Carolyn Kimbell (not EYC)). The cost is $100.00, which includes the lessons and all teaching materials. Enrollment priority will be based on the postmark date of the mailed check and form. If the class fills, we will maintain a wait list and you will be notified of your status.
