1. From the beginning plot reviewed and recalled, teacher prompts pupils in terms of the characteristics of the characters by asking question. 2. Pupils respond appropriate answers based on the lines read and relate it to the characteristics of the characters. 3. Pupils identify some of the characteristics of the characters based on what they have read so far. 4. Teacher discusses the answers with the pupils. Post-reading (20 minutes) Worksheet (i-Think Programme: Bubble map) I like Anil because he is obedient. He did as he was told. 1. Teacher distributes a worksheet to the pupils. 2. Pupils fill in the adjectives provided to describe the character in each picture and state the event which portrays such characteristics. 3. Teacher checks pupils answers by discussing with them. 4. Teacher randomly name calls pupils to talk about the character they like or do not like and state reasons based on the worksheet done. Closure (5 minutes) Adjectives 1. Teacher summarises the lesson by reviewing what adjective is. 2. Pupils provide a few examples to show their understanding.
