Andrew McCauley: On today's podcast, we're talking about content collection.

Not curation, but how do you collect content. Andrew McCauley: Hey, everybody, this is Andrew McCauley. Welco e to podcast nu ber !". #his is nu ber !" is our series o$ podcasts, and today we are talking about content collection. How do you get content% &o eti es it's hard to think o$ content $or your blog posts and your social posts' how one (arth can you co e up with content that you need to co e up with on a regular basis% #o help e break all this down and give you the run)down o$ where we get our content $ro , the $abulous Heather *orter+ Heather Porter: Ah yes, here , a . Hello Andrew, hello everybody. #hanks again $or tuning in. We love having you -oin us. Andrew McCauley: .eah, re e ber we were talking about what are we going to do on our podcast, and we're like, /&hould we do this, should we do that%/, and we thought, you know, we've spoken a lot about content creation, how to create content $or your listeners, your readers, or your $ollowers, but we never really spoke about how so eti es you get stuck. &o eti es you -ust don't know where on (arth you're going to get that ne0t inspiration $ro . &o, today's podcast is all about the places that we use to get our content, our ideas, to keep it $lowing, to get our news i$ you like, and we thought we'd share so e o$ those with people today. Heather Porter: .eah, because you know what ,'ve $ound is one o$ the biggest things that holds people back $ro actually creating their web presence online is the whole issue o$ content. , don't know what it is, but we all struggle, or at least ost o$ us struggle, with trying to talk about ourselves, or our business, or where to get ideas, and it can be a huge road block. #hese tools that we're about to share are incredibly help$ul and handy and they're not only going to help you $ind places to get a a1ing content in your industry, but also ake it easy $or you to share in$or ation as well. 2ecause when it's at your $ingertips and it's really great content and you really want to share it, it's easy to share at that point. Andrew McCauley: .eah, and you know so eti es these aren't even tools, they ay be even -ust parts o$ a tool that you already know and use and love, which we're going to show you so e other aspects o$ how you can use so e o$ these plat$or s or tools. Heather Porter: #hat we are, but be$ore we start sharing these little orsels with you, hey, Andrew... what did you learn this week%

Andrew McCauley: Hey, Heather... , learned a stack o$ things this week, actually. , a digging back into y arketing books and y arketing brain is back on because, as you know, we've got a nu ber o$ products co ing up on the arket and we've got a whole range o$ other things that we want to get out and tell people about, so ,' learning so e arketing stu$$. 2ut, , also, as part o$ our Online 7ootprint aga1ine, do a regular hangout with our very good $riend (laine 3indsay all about 6oogle 8 and 6oogle Hangouts, and we were speaking yesterday about all o$ the changes that 6oogle unleashed -ust yesterday. #here's 9: new changes that they've spat out in 6oogle Hangouts and 6oogle 8. One o$ the , want to tell you about which is really $ascinating and , -ust told you be$ore the show and , know it sort o$ blows your ind about what can be done, but so, to give you an idea, you know when you get a digital ca era, everyone's got a digital ca era or even your i*hone or your s artphone, and you take a photo and that photo has a label, it has to have a na e. ;sually it's so ething like i g<=!>!, you know, so e rando nu ber. &o, you download the all onto your desktop and i$ you want to go and $ind the photo o$ your dog playing at the beach with the 6olden 6ate 2ridge in the background, $or instance, you've got to go through and look at each one o$ those photo, right% 2ecause you didn't tag it properly, you didn't na e it, , ean, let's $ace it, who really na es all o$ their photos% Heather Porter: .eah. Andrew McCauley: ,n the old days when you used to take photos and print the up, you would write on the back o$ the , or so e people would, write on the back o$ it who was in the photo. 2ut these days, because we're taking so any photos, it -ust doesn't ake sense to tag every single photo with a relevant description. What 6oogle are doing now is they're using achine learning and what's it's doing is it?s going through photos and it can now recogni1e things like a dog. ,t knows what a dog is, it knows what a bridge is, it knows what a sunset it, what a @apanese ki ono looks like. &o, when you type in /looking $or dog with bridge in the background/ sort o$ thing, it will know which photos to deliver in the search results. Heather Porter: #hat's a bit creepy, but also really cool at the sa e ti e. Andrew McCauley: Well, you know what% And, you can also start ) and , believe that this is also happening ) is you can train it. We've got all o$ this $ace recognition stu$$, so i$ ,'ve got a bunch o$ photos and ,' like, , want to $ind Heather *orter, photos o$ Heather *orter, it will spit

back all o$ the photos with you in it because it's already recogni1ed your $ace. Heather Porter: Wow... Andrew McCauley: .eah, scary stu$$, but a a1ing what's happening. #his is stu$$ that you only thought about, , ean, this is stu$$ you only thought about. , re e ber thinking about this ten years ago, thinking we'll never be able to do that, it would take so eone $orever to progra so ething like that. 2ut hey, it didn't take $orever, it took ten years, so that's what , learnt this week is the world is getting cra1ier, s aller, and creepier. Heather Porter: AlaughsB Nice one, Andrew. #hanks $or sharing that. Andrew McCauley: What about you, what did you learn this week% , know you've been busy doing a whole bunch o$ stu$$, too. What crossed your desk% Heather Porter: .eah, ,'ve been straight into syste s all week, doing ad e ail auto)responders and syste setups, so ,' not e0actly in a creative head)space, but what has co e across as a the e this week is turning around a negative e0perience with a client into a positive one. And, as a business owner, , know all o$ you guys know what ,? talking about. .ou know, you get the client that co es in, you and the client have the best intentions $or a brilliant working relationship, and then so ething happens, whether it's the $ault o$ you or your tea , or isco unications, there's so uch stu$$ that can happen really, let's $ace it. 2ut, what's incredibly power$ul is when you are able to take responsibility $or what's happened and turn it into positive and actually get ore research on how to i prove what you're doing as a business. What happens is, , suppose when these clients co e across and they tend to be a bit o$ a challenge. , have a personal vendetta to actually turn around the situation. , think /How can , turn this situation around so they co e out a raving $an, and whatever's happening here, how can , i ple ent this in y business to ake our syste s better, our sta$$ ore hands on with the client%/, you know, whatever we need to have happen. &o there's two clients in particular that , know, Andrew, you and , were talking to, and one o$ the has been really, it's been a long and ongoing challenge, and -ust today , think we $inally turned hi around. He's $inally saying things like you guys are incredible, , still want to work with you guys, so that's one. #hen there's another one that re$ers us an incredible a ount o$ business and we were doing stu$$ $or her and un$ortunately so e things
3isten here4 http455autopilotyourbusiness.co 5podcasts5!")how)to)collect)web)content5 6et a copy o$ our Online &urvival 6uide here4 http455aybguide.co www.autopilotyourbusiness .co

slipped through the cracks, so we actually used it as an opportunity to tighten our syste s and really reach out to her and build a better relationship with her, and she ca e back and said, /, love how you guys take responsibility./ And since then, she's already re$erred three new clients. &o what ,'ve learned is, don't try and run away $ro these negative e0periences and stress yoursel$ out and hide your head under the covers, use the as an e0perience to reach out even ore to that client because in the end, i$ you can turn the around into a raving $an, your whole business is going to turn around as a result. Andrew McCauley: .eah, you know that's a good point. ,'ve spoken at a $ew events where so ebody put their hand up and they were like, /.ou know, , don't want to be on 7acebook because , don't want people writing negative stu$$ about our business./ ,' like, that's a really interesting attitude to take on that sort o$ stu$$ because so e people have this old view that i$ you're on 7acebook people are going to write negative stu$$. Well, y opinion o$ that sort o$ thing is, give the so ewhere to write it because then you control it. ,$ you control the plat$or , then you can control how the outco e eventuates. What , said to this person is, /,$ you don't do that, they are still going to write so ething bad about you so ewhere where you're not going to know o$. And you'll never know where to go and $i0 it./ 2ut, give the so ewhere to write i$ where you can show it, and o$ten , hear people who take that approach and they give a plat$or like a 7acebook page, or a 6oogle 8 page, or a 3inked,n group, or whatever, they give it, but when they publicly $i0 the situation, other people say, /Wow, , like way that those people reacted to the situation and ,' going to go and do business with the now, too./ And they actually collect ore business $ro it rather than trying to push it under the carpet and say it doesn't e0ist because it's going to e0ist. Con't, , ean, you don't want to have these situations in the $irst place, but they're going to pop up. .ou know, we didn't plan to have these situations $or our business, but $or whatever reason we didn't have control over the reasons that these situations eventuated, but we still had to take responsibility and say, well, at the end o$ the day it really is our responsibility because we're doing so e work $or the and it didn't turn out the way we wanted it, but we needed to ake it work because i$ we put it under the carpet, these people we work with are very well connected, you know, all o$ our custo ers are well connected in their industries. We don't want that word getting out to people saying that we -ust push things under the carpet and run away.

Heather Porter: Absolutely, and the bigger you get as a business owner and the ore people you work with, the ore criticis you're going to $ace. ,t's -ust part o$ how it works, so , love what you suggested about allowing the to have a space to tell you where you can i prove and the power is in really really listening to that because there is validity in ost co ents that co e through the door i$ you kind o$ read between the lines and look at what really is upsetting the about, perhaps, the working relationship. .ou can $i0 it. #ake responsibility, that's part o$ being business owner is to take responsibility $or your business and your sta$$, and everything that you're doing. &o, it's been a good little learning and ore wonder$ul learning we were able to turn this around and ake it really positive $or all involved. &o let's get into it+ ,'d love $or you to start leading this little bit because these three tools are actually things that you taught e about when we were together in &ydney $or our latest event, our 7ireside Chat even we -ust did, and you actually showed e how to set the up and talked e through it, and as a result , have it on y i*ad, so talk it through. What are these a a1ing little tools that you have% Andrew McCauley: Well, , guess it ca e about because there's )) aybe ,'ll take a $ew steps back be$ore , get into the tools and -ust talk about how they work. Most websites these days have those little orange icons, the D&& icons, and aybe ,'ll talk a little bit about D&& right now because a lot o$ people don't understand what D&& really does. #hey're not sure what the point o$ it is. #hey see so e weird code and say what does that do% Now, D&& is basically having your own newspaper. &o, , want you to think about this4 you go to the local newspaper wherever you live, you go to the news agent or wherever you buy your newspaper $ro . .ou wouldn't read 9EEF o$ that newspaper, there will be section you read, you ight read the $ront page, you ight read the business section or the sports section. .ou ight leave out the classi$ieds in the iddle. .ou ay not even look at the $inancial part o$ the paper, but there will be parts o$ that paper that you don't read. What D&& does is basically lets you al ost create your own news source o$ the things that you want to read and not all o$ the stu$$ that so e publication is pushing onto you. &o, when you go to a website and you see so e interesting in$or ation $ro so ebody, so eone is writing a blog and you really like what they write and they're writing regularly, and we're talking about content creation, they're writing regular pieces o$ in$or ation that you really want to see ore o$, clicking on the D&& icon lets you put it into

what they call a reader, and a reader collates all o$ the in$or ation to one spot $or you so that you don't have to keep going back to that website. When that owner writes a new blog post the ne0t day, you don't have to go back to that website to see i$ he's written a new blog post, it auto atically gets put into this thing called a reader, and you can have as any di$$erent blog posts all sending their in$or ation directly back to your reader, so you've got one easy spot to read your news $or the day or the week or however o$ten you want to read it. Now, 6oogle had a very, very good reader and they called it 6oogle Deader, and they decided, as 6oogle can and do, to close it down because they didn't want to use it any ore. #housands and thousands o$ people got really up in ar s about it because it was a great product, a really good tool that a lot o$ people used, but they didn't care, they didn't ask people, they -ust said today we're shutting it down, you've got si0 weeks to get rid o$ all o$ your $eeds, ove it out, and $ind so ething new. &o now, all o$ these new readers have popped up, so there are a ountain o$ readers out there that you can use. ,' not going to tell you every one o$ the because that would be cra1y and we'd go $orever, but the ones that , do like are 7eedly, 7eedly is a good reader, so when , go to a new blog post and , see so ething new, , look $or the D&& icon and , click on that to add it to y 7eedly reader, and , can, -ust letting you know, inside a reader you can read the article. ,t will look like a website or a news article. .ou can use 7eedly in a lot o$ these apps you can use on an i*ad or an i*hone, you can even read it on your desktop, as well. #here's a nu ber o$ di$$erent places to read it. My pre$erred choice is using y i*ad so , can sit down on the couch and use it like a newspaper, , -ust read y newspaper in the orning and , see what's up to date. &o, there's another one called Mr. Deader. Now, Mr. Deader, , believe, is only and i*ad app, and the way , use it is it actually sucks y 7eedly $eeds into y Mr. Deader app. Now, why would , want to do this% , like the way that Mr. Deader is structured so , can Guickly look at the ain headlines and the snippets which are the key $irst sentence or two o$ that article and , Guickly deter ine whether , want to read that article or not. &o, the way , do it is, , $lick through it because ,'ve actually -oined a lot o$ blogs, so ,'ve got a lot o$ in$or ation co ing through every single day. ,$ , don't read y reader $or three or $our days , ight have 9,EEE articles piled up. Heather Porter: Wow, that's a lot. Andrew McCauley: A lot o$ it , don't read. A lot o$ it , -ust $lick through, and so eti es , -ust need to read headlines to get the gist o$ the story because ,' into it that uch. &o, ,'ll $lick through Mr.

Deader and ,'ll $ind out what is it that , need to read. ,$ there's so ething that , want to read later, ,'ll share it and ,'ll share it to a place called *ocket. *ocket is another $or o$ reader. , like *ocket $or the layout that it has. , can read it the way , want to read it i$ ,'ve got ti e to read stu$$, so y Mr. Deader, basically in the ornings lets e go through and Guickly deter ine what , want to read later in the day or that night. &o , share it to *ocket. 7ro there, $ro y Mr. Deader, , can also share it to other places. , can share straight to y #witter $eed and y 3inked,n $eed. , can share it to y 7acebook, , can put it to y (vernote account i$ , want to use (vernote. ,' not sure i$ people have used (vernote, but it's like a scrapbook i$ you like o$ collecting in$or ation, so ,'ll put it in there. 2ut, that's one o$ the ain things that , use to collect in$or ation. Heather Porter: , love the and they reason why , think $or those that are newer to $eeds and trying to even understand what that is, basically what it -ust eans is you don't have to go scouring around the internet and trying to even re e ber which websites you like to read or which e0perts you like to $ollow. .ou use things tools so you're literally one ti e and one ti e only $inding the ;D3s to their $ee, which are websites, and that's a whole other little topic, but basically as Andrew was saying, there's nor ally an orange button on the site that says D&&. .ou're $inding these once and one ti e only, and your adding the into your reader so then now you have all the in$or ation at your $ingertips right there in that one place and it saves you a tre endous a ount o$ ti e, but , know $or e, when , start to, whenever ,' at a live event, or whenever ,' learning so ething new, , always want to collect that e0pert into y inner circle o$ in$or ation, and o$tenti es i$ , don't have a tool like this ,'ll $orget who that person is, or ,'ll $orget to go to their website or $orget to read up on the in their social edia. What this episode is all about is basically saying one ti e you set so ething up, then you have news at your $ingertips $ro all the places that you value ost, and by having that in $ront o$ you, you're not only learning constantly about what's going on in your industry or in your space, but you're very easily able to share this in$or ation and use it in your own blog post or your own social edia posts. &o , love these tools and ,' now using the on y i*ad as well since Andrew ca e through and taught e how, so thank you $or sharing that in$or ation. Andrew McCauley: .eah, , thought ,'d clari$y, i$ that all sounds really con$using, go to one. @ust use 7eedly, -ust use one o$ the and -ust use 7eedly. .ou can get 7eedly on your app, -ust have a look at 7eedly

and check out what's going on. .ou don't need to have it all synced up like , do. ,' a bit o$ a techie geek like that, so , like to do that sort o$ stu$$, but -ust use one and it's going to keep you up to date on your industry. 7eedly would be the one that , would use $ro the start. Heather Porter: *er$ect. Andrew McCauley: &o that's news, H. #hat's how to get news $ro various blogs, but there's a couple o$ other places, too, that you can go and $ind in$or ation i$ you want to go to their site, which is actually like a curator o$ in$or ation, as well. One o$ y $avorites is called alltop.co . Have you ever been to that% Heather Porter: , have, yeah, , absolutely have been there and , get ideas $ro that site, so it's kind o$ like, what, little snippets o$ newsworthy in$or ation that is rising in trends around the internet% Andrew McCauley: No, well alltop does a couple o$ things. 2asically, it's a collation o$ news everywhere, but it will actually send you to the $ull article, so i$ you go to alltop and you're looking $or, say you're looking $or horses and you want to $ind out about the , you type horses in the search bar and it will co e back with a whole range o$ di$$erent blogs that have been written about horses. .ou can go and check it out and that way you ight $ind so e relevant horse in$or ation that you ight want to go then and put into your D&& $eed. Heather Porter: Would you say that this is a good discovery place $or not only getting ideas but also discovering e0perts and people talking about things in your space, as well, right% Andrew McCauley: .eah, de$initely. .ou can go and $ind hot topics o$ all o$ the content about hot topics that are relevant to that sub-ect, you can $ind new topics, you can $ind recent topics, so there's a whole range o$ di$$erent things that you can $ind out, and , love alltop because it does collect the in$or ation very well. Heather Porter: And there's another one that , like to use, which is a little ore general, but it's called upworthy.co , and it's a curation site, so basically they have all these contributors that post positive upbeat, sort o$, hu anity pieces, so things that ake you laugh or s ile or reconnect with hu ans that way. 2ut it's a great place i$ you're looking $or e otive pieces to put on your blogs or social edia, because, as we know, the e otional pieces work really well $or getting engage ent. #his is a great site to get ideas o$ things to share, it akes it very easy, as well, $or you to share the across all o$ your

networks. &o, upworthy is another great one -ust $or general $eel)good sort o$ content. Andrew McCauley: Hey, now , want to go back to -ust, you -ust said a couple o$ things be$ore about you're at an event and you're listening to the speaker and you want to $ind out ore about it, one o$ the things that a lot o$ people don't reali1e that you can do is use so e o$ your social sites to start collating in$or ation, too. &o, $or instance, let's say you're at an event and you've got Mary & ith as a speaker and you like what she's talking about, let's say she gives out her #witter na e. &he says it's HMary& ith, $or instance. .ou go and $ind Mary & ith, you can $ind her to a list, you can start creating a list o$ people that you want to $ollow on #witter. .ou ight $ind other e0perts -ust like Mary & ith and you can put the all into a #witter list $or you, so you can go into your #witter account, click on that list and you'll see only tweets that are $ro those people on the list. ,t's a great way to $ind out what your industry leaders are talking about on a regular basis and how you can use that in$or ation to share with your people, as well. Heather Porter: , love this tool because, so basically in so ebody's pro$ile there's a little option $or you when you're logged into, say, #witter, and then you -ust, you can add the to a list that you create, and you have ultiple lists so you ight have entors, overs and shakers in your industry. .ou na e these lists and then you add the into lists, and then on the ho epage o$ #witter, correct e i$ ,' wrong, and then you can sort by the list so that everybody added to the list only their tweets show up. ,s that right% Andrew McCauley: Absolutely, yeah. And, what you can also do is, there ay be so ebody who's created lists with your $avorite e0perts in there already, so you can actually, there are lists out there that are public, so you ay go out there and $ind other lists that already have those people in it, and you can say , want to $ollow this list as well. .ou can -ust see what that person's created $or you. #hey've created a list already done $or you. #here's that on #witter. .ou can do the sa e on 7acebook, as well. .ou can create people that you $ollow on 7acebook and put the into a list. ,'ve got a list o$ people that , $ollow regularly on y 7acebook account. ,'ve tagged the , ,'ve put the into the list, and , know that as soon as , click on that, y news $eed is only those people that , wanted in that list so , can Guickly see what that group o$ people are doing and , can respond to the without having to si$t through thousands and thousands o$ posts because once you start getting ore than a couple

o$ hundred people, another thing , learnt today is that the 7acebook person has <<E $riends now on 7acebook. A couple o$ years ago, $our or $ive years ago it was 9<E, now it's <<E, so once you start building up that list, i$ you want to clean out your news $eed, put lists in place to help you do that. Heather Porter: .eah, looks, it's a great tool, and like you were saying, when you are at an event what you guys ight want to do -ust to start, -ust put a list together called entors, $or e0a ple, or people that you want to learn $ro , and then -ust ake it a ental note every ti e you co e across one to add the into these lists. ,$ you do nothing ore, this way not only are you getting their newsworthy in$or ation, but you can also co unicate, share their posts, co ent on their posts uch easier because you're screening out all the other stu$$ that's happening. Andrew McCauley: .eah, absolutely. 6oogle 8 has circles, you can do the sa e with 6oogle 8. &o, put people in circles, you can watch circles and look at co unities now. 6oogle 8 has brought in co unities. .ou can put people in co unities and create your own co unities to bring people in. 2ut circles is a way to really concentrate and $ollow people in those circles. 3inked,n has groups, $ollow the people in groups on 3inked,n. 6o to groups and check out who's in a speci$ic group and see what they're posting. #here's a great place $or inspiration about content $or your arketing there, as well. &o that's 3inked,n, H, do you use groups $or your 3inked,n stu$$% Heather Porter: No, but , actually use ,n$luencers, which is under another area o$ 3inked,n. , believe it's under ,nterests i$ you're logged into your 3inked,n account. ;nder ,nterests there's a drop down that says ,n$luencers. ,t's -ust overs and shakers around the world in business, pri arily pro$essionals and it co es up on a page that al ost looks like *interest where it's a pin board o$ all o$ these visual posts. , can at a very Guick snapshot see what the heads o$ di$$erent industries and di$$erent businesses are doing around the world. And , love that because, again, 3inked,n is used uch ore $or pro$essional space, so to get news at a snapshot $ro the pro$essional space is always handy $or e. Andrew McCauley: .eah, those ,n$luencers are very good. .ou know what% #hey start o$$ with about 9EE ,n$luencers and what they did was they've increased the nu ber o$ ,n$luencers, so there's all sorts o$ di$$erent people around the world now who's been added to that 3inked,n ,n$luencer list, so pretty power$ul stu$$. One o$ the other things , was going to talk about is you can tag your $riends and your connections in 3inked,n as well, so i$ you've et certain people, you've

connected with people on 3inked,n as various e0perts in di$$erent $ields, you can tag the on your connections so that you can do a search by your tagged connections. ,t lets you $ilter people on your 3inked,n list that way, too. Heather Porter: , love it+ , ean, who would have known that, looking at social edia, it overwhel s all o$ us in the best o$ ti es, you know, so i$ you look at these tools, gosh, it allows us to e0tract the in$or ation that we really want to hear really easily. Andrew McCauley: .eah, and it's pretty power$ul. 2e$ore we wrap up this call because , know we're getting to the end o$ it, there's one other tool that you and , both use $or collation, and we both o$ use it in di$$erent ways, and that is a thing called paper.ly. , think we've spoken about this on our podcast be$ore. Hey, tell us how you use it. Heather Porter: We have, it's a great tool. Well, right now, currently, ,'ll talk about a couple o$ our clients and how they're using it. We have set up paper.ly, which essential is al ost like a reader but this ti e it's packaged into a newsletter which allows you, i$ you want to, not only do you pull $eeds in but you can use it as a newsletter that you give to your own database or your list. 2ut, a couple o$ our clients don't even use it like that, they actually use it as a reader and what they've done is put it on a page on their website, they've chosen a whole bunch o$ $eeds $ro websites in their industry, and everything co es through into that newsletter and they use it internally $or their tea as step one so that their tea actually has access to this hidden webpage that's not part o$ the enu on their website, and the tea can go in and see what's going on in the industry, but then they also use it to build co entary $or their own newsletter. &o, instead o$ setting up, because not everyone's a technical whi1 kid like Andrew is, instead o$ setting up the 7eed.ly and all these cra1y readers and all these tools which they would get co pletely lost with, instead they -ust have the paper.ly and they use that as their reader and then they go and write co entary based on what's going on. &o, both o$ the clients are using it like this, and it's an incredible tool. Who would have thought you'd use paper.ly in that way% #alk to e a little bit ore about so e other ways we use it. Andrew McCauley: Well, , guess one o$ the things is al ost reader where a reader collects blog posts and that sort o$ stu$$. you can do with your paper.ly and how , use it is it collects a lot social co entary and the social in$or ation that's being sent, put people's #witter accounts ,C in there and that will collate tweet that they do. ,'ll put in 7acebook $eeds and that sort o$

like a What o$ the so ,'ll every thing.

,' collecting people's social signals as well as a $ew blog posts at the sa e ti e, but it gives e another point to read people's collective in$or ation that they're sending out to the world. .ou can have your own paper.ly, you can have your own paper $or all o$ your co petitors, right, so all o$ your co petitor?s in$or ation is co ing to you in one newspaper. , agine having that. , agine having a newspaper o$ your co petitor?s in$or ation o$ what they're doing every inute o$ the day. *retty cool stu$$, hey% Heather Porter: ,t's a a1ing+ , think that's the power o$ in$or ation right now as we are in an in$or ation age is how you get it, how you process it, and how you use it in your business, and using your co petitors in$or ation to do arket research is brilliant. Now it's never been easier to $ollow what all o$ your co petitors are doing because you literally have all o$ their $eeds going into one place. Andrew McCauley: , know, it's aweso e. ,t's a cool tool that , can tell you not any people are using. #hink about that, think about what you're putting out and what other people could be potentially looking at what you're doing, too, or lack o$, so keep that in ind, as well. Heather Porter: .eah. Now guys, as always, we put the links to all these little resources and apps and things that we've talked about today on our website in our show notes.
