16th February Morning Worship Mark 7

Welcome to the Service, especially those who are visiting us for the first time. Please do join us for tea and coffee after the service. There is a welcome desk in the foyer with more information about the churchs activities

Gift Day Generosity

We held our annual Springfield Gift Day last October, and have been overwhelmed by peoples generosity in giving towards Gods mission- both in time & practical service and also financially. We now have a summary of the finance side, and can report that there were one off gifts of just over 17,000. In 11 cases, people either increased their regular giving or began regular giving for the first time with an annual effect of around 7,000. (With slight adjustment to come after tax has been reclaimed). Thank you all for your support.

Womens World Day of Prayer

On March 7th; 10.30 am at St. Elpheges and 7.30pm at Bandon Hill Methodist This years title is Streams in the Desert and the focus is on praying for Egypt

Storage
Sue is looking for storage space for four boxes of nativity costumes that are only used annually. If you can offer some loft or cupboard space that might suit, please do talk to her. (This will then release more room for all our regular Sunday storage)

Please pray for:

Steven, Harry & Carole at this difficult time, that they will know Gods love and care for them Our friends, family and members of the Springfield community who are undergoing treatment for Gods strength and healing touch

Housekeeping
As part of our ongoing safety procedures, there are some points we all have to be reminded about: ~~~~~~~~ In case of the Fire Alarm sounding, please evacuate the Hall directly to the grass in front of the school. Do not return to try and collect your children: they will be escorted by their leaders around the outside of the building and meet you at the front after registration. ~~~~~~~~ Please remember that you are responsible for your children when they are not in groups

Abbottabad News
Nigel Halletts latest newsletter from the BASIS community in Pakistan is now available at the welcome desk

Leaders day away

On Saturday 17th May, we are delighted that Darren Johnston from Kings Church in Warrington will be talking with us about the positive impact that missional community groups can make in the life of the church. We will also be inviting our Extend partners from St Pauls in Brixton to join us to share this exciting message.
