Integrity

* Being honest about our mistakes that we make. Following through with what you say you are going to do. Trust for staff among students. We show respect to students, and they show it to staff. Students would feel respected and able to trust the staff on campus-- they would feel safe with us. Encouraging students to do what is right even when no one is looking.

Staff keep their promises. Staff do what they say they are going to do. People will say they are able to trust the staff. Staff take responsibility for their words and actions. We are there for each other. We realized that even though we are all different, we should ALL be valued for what we do. We should feel respected by each other as professionals. We respect each other's views and opinions.

* Actively engaged in the act of teaching. Marvin Marshall screams integrity. Everyone would be treated the same, regardless of their circumstances. Idea that we may have differences, but we all have value. That we are treating/disciplining their child like we would our own: being fair, explaining why, etc.

Communication

Greeting students warmly. Expectations would be clearly defined; students would understand what our expectations are of them. Clear consequences for ALL-- fair and equal. Respect shown in our communication to students. Our new morning announcements! Students should feel like they We would clearly understand what is expected of us from can come tell us anything without fear. Requiring above. Greeting each other. Staff should feel like we students to be respectful and responsible. have a VOICE.

We would greet them as they come onto campus, ask if they need help, etc. They would see that the expectations and consequences are the same for everyone. Parents would feel that we value this via the Tuesday folders, ConnectEd calls, the PTA, etc.

Learning

Progress is evident. Idea that all we are asking is for you to do your best-- we would show them how to be responsible and accountable for their learning. Students would see that we expect them to take responsibility/ownership for their own learning.

We would train each other on important areas (i.e. SmartBoard technology). We as a staff would be working to learn and grow through workshops, meetings, etc.

We would provide parents with training on important things related to our school.

Safety & Security

Hard Work

Perseverance.
