provide impetus and leadership to
intentionally pursue programs such as:
• Contextualized Worship and
Preaching
To encourage congregations to
express their faith in songs, rituals
and movements of their own and use
indigenous musical instruments. These
resources would then contribute to
the making of a Filipino Methodist
hymnal and book of worship.
• Youth and Campus Ministries
To develop discipleship programs
for out-of-school youth and organize
Methodist students for effective
campus witness.
* Internet-based Media Ministries
To develop a website that presents
the gospel message with intentional
evangelistic appeal through preaching
and teaching, music and drama in
various formats such as audio and
video.
* Theological education for both
clergy and lay
To equip church leaders with
knowledge, competencies and skills
in church ministries for intentional
church growth
* Developing a viable compensation
package and pension benefits of
church workers
To devise a strategy for raising much
needed funds to sustain both active
and retired church workers.
