Farewell: The Christian Brothers Brothers Dermot, Hugh & Gabe
All are welcome today to join with staff and students, past and present, and a number of Christian Brothers to recognise the contribution of the Brothers to the Warrnambool region. There will be live music, historical displays and tours of the College. Tea, coffee and a selection of cakes and biscuits will be provided by the College. At 2.00pm there will be a formal farewell recognizing the Brothers contribution to Warrnambool education plus a tree planting. Toohey Estate: I am pleased to announce that following consultation with the Parish Finance Committee and with Bishop Paul Bird, the gifting of a block of land at a significantly discounted rate, has enabled Peters Project to embark on a fundraiser titled Peters Project Charity House. A launch was held on Friday with the Premier Denis Napthine and local Federal MP Dan Tehan present. There will be further publicity throughout the building program. (Fr John) Lenten Reflection: Once again we will join with the Uniting & Anglican Churches during the Season of Lent. The program You have set us Free is designed to be used by small groups that meet weekly. If you wish to participate, or use the booklet for your own personal prayer, please give details on sheet provided in G Space. Eucharistic Ministers: A Formation Evening on Tuesday, 25th February at 7.00pm for some senior students from Emmanuel College. Its also an opportunity for our present ministers to be up-dated as well as showing support to these students.
