Entry #1 Attitudes contains of positive or negative evaluation of object of thoughts which are the social issues, institution, consumer products and people. I learnt that there are three types of attitude components which are the cognitive, affective, and behavioral, the factors in changing attitudes which includes the source, message and receiver. There are a few theories of attitude change in learning - evaluating conditioning, operant conditioning and observation learning. Besides, there are the process of learning which includes stimulus to response to effect on behaviour which is what we are learning. Moreover, I had learnt that operant condition is a form of learning in which response come to be controlled by their consequences, for example, you tend to go to Starbucks for a drink (Behavior - response), to refresh your mind (Consequences - Rewarding stimulus), and your tendency to patronize Starbucks' increases. I realized how it applied daily in my lifestyle. Besides that, i learnt the principle of reinforcement by B.F.Skinner of the association strengthened if stimulus is satisfying where we always apply it on training our pet. There's also observational leaning when an organism's responding is influenced by observation of others, who are called models. this theory is applied mostly on children - monkey see monkey do. Observant tend to copy that they saw and reapply it on them. For example, when a child saw his parents beating them when they are wrong, the child react the same to their friends when their friends did wrong. This example is one of the aggressive behavior. Whereas there's also a good behavior for this theory which is when the observant saw something good, and they apply it in good way. There are positive and negative for this reinforcement, it's just depends on how we used it.

Entry #2 During the vision lecture, I have got to know more about my eye vision, how does it work, how each one of us sees things etc. Vision is depends on the light which is a part of the electromagnetic spectrum, the continuum of all the frequency radiated energy. I learnt about the psychology on colour that effect on how people feels. For example, office should paint in blue, because it's the most productive colour and dining room should paint in red, because it encourages our appetite. Besides there are also cross-cultural study on affective meaning of colours that black and grey are bad, red and black are strong , etc. Moreover, I learnt that red is the most attractive colour in the colour wheel. Red enhances men's attraction to woman. It's relative to other achromatic and chromatic colours which lead man to view woman as more attractive. It widely believed that red increases arousal and brain activity. Other than that, there are a few visual systems on perceptual process, which are reversible figure, ambiguous stimulus, intentional blindness, assemblies forms, subjective contours, figure and ground, and more. Sometimes, visual illusion involves an apparently inexplicable discrepancy between the appearance of a visual stimulus and it's physical reality.
