Background: It is being implemented to increase production capacity of Sulfonated Naphthalene Formaldehyde Super Plasticizers (SNF). Construction of the plant is expected to commence in 2013, with commercial operations to start in 2015. The scheme will be funded by a combination of self-financing and banking facilities along with Saudi Industrial Development Fund after taking the necessary approvals. Previous Event :

The sulphonated naphthalene formaldehyde manufacturer, which first started commercial production in 2001 with a capacity of 20,000mtpa, is currently producing 170,000mtpa of SNF.
