Responsibilities as a Safety Officer

Provide safety induction to new workers at site to familiarize them of the activities and company rules and regulations regarding safety at work. Conducts regular toolbox meeting to upgrade the knowledge of workers on how to work properly and prevent accidents. Risk assessment for activities where having possible hazard that would pose the workers and properties at risk. Carries out daily site monitoring to ensure only safe work methods are in operation, adequate fire and fall protection are in place and all welfare and first aid facilities are properly maintained. nsures that site workers are fully complying with the approved safe work permit system. Conducts near miss incident!accident investigations and check actions taken by supervisors to eliminate reoccurrence in the future.
