Susi Air is proud to present our newest aircraft for the start of SUSI VIP charter services. We have been searching for an aircraft which gives the best possible flight experience to our passengers, while at the same time providing highest safety standards and economical operation. The Avanti was developed and first flown in the early 1990s and is a truly outstanding aircraft. The center point of the aircraft is the exceptionally large cabin (see a size comparison below), because the aircraft is built with a priority to the passengers comfort. Due to the engines being placed far in the back, the noise level is very low as well. Exceptional aerodynamics and advanced (as well as patented) concept of 3 wings also give the Avanti outstanding performance. While it is powered by two proven and reliable turboprop engines, the speed and altitudes it achieves are more like a jet. At the same time, it is the greenest and most economical way to have executives and VIPs travel in style; in todays age of more environmental concern it is good to know that the Avanti flies the same distance in the same time as a comparable jet, using only half the fuel.

The Avanti Cabin is 1,77 meters high and 1,86 meters wide; this is by far larger than any small jet, and compares in size only with much larger aircraft like the Falcon 50. 6 - 8 passengers can work, or relax, in highest comfort.

Flying at its maximum cruise speed of more than 650 km/ hour with a range of 2.200 km the Avanti has the ability to reach any part of Indonesia with a maximum of one stop - and any destination in Java, Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi and Nusa Tenggara nonstop. While flying at altitudes of more than 35.000 feet, the cabin is kept at a comfortable level of 5.000 feet and below, so the passengers arrive fresh and ready for work. In only a short time the Avanti can be converted into a well equipped Air Ambulance. With one patient on board and up to 5 person to accompany the aircraft can fly more than 1.800 km nonstop. The excellent cabin pressurization system keeps the oxygen levels high, and we can even fly at a lower altitude providing sea level air pressure if required for medical reasons. Due to the larger cabin critical care is easier to administer in flight as well. Susi Air has been operating scheduled and charter flights since 2004 and now has a fleet of more than 20 aircraft based in all parts of Indonesia. With Cessna C208, Pilatus PC6, Diamond and Avanti aircraft, we can provide service to all airports in Indonesia and the region, no matter how remote they are. And in September 2009 our fleet will be expanded further with modern helicopters for full service of any aviation need.
