"HOW TO CHOOSE A GOOD SCIENTIFIC PROBLEM"

In the world of research, magic formula is not defined to choose a topic to develop, but there are different authors giving their point of view, one of them is Uri Alon in his article "How to choose a good scientific problem", I find interesting your council about the time, he talks about where not rush, not choose the first that comes to mind, but choose one consciously taking into account a highly relevant research will be difficult and will take time, probably there will be times that are frustrating, where there is no any progress and research take another tack, however the perseverance, dedication and discipline of the researcher will be very important. A correct selection is of great importance, since it always will result in new knowledge that can bring great benefits to society. There are several principles for the election of a good scientific issue, first choose the problem that develop us a self-motivated, encouraging an environment favourable to the development of intellectual potential, human and professional. In the election, you must bear in mind the feasibility and interest of the issue, be aware that our capacity is according to the type of problem that we can solve. But we must not rush into our election, nor let spend time in when selecting our idea to develop, the decision should be taken just at the right time. The capacity for solving scientific problems will depend on our skills, available technology and including knowledge and information we have for its resolution. One tool to the partial verification of the results is the simulation, which comes from the physical or mathematical understanding of the project. Motivation plays an important role in the promotion of any activity or goal to develop and research is no exception, should mentalizing in that research tends to be hard work and at the same time it is a source of energy, joy and many times is an act of love, happiness is also important, morality, ethics and values are concepts that must be present throughout the research process, where sometimes you must take in account intuition to decide the direction to be followed. During and at the end of the investigation is essential the use of a clear notation, as simple as possible so that it is easy to understand considering the potential readers and also to do so systematically, with attention to small details. Finally we need to understand that the success of the research is achieved not only with special qualities, must start with the correct selection of a subject to develop, is a work of constancy, follow a good method of organization, strengthen research as a priority activity, strengthening the information, coming to the last consequences, exhausting all possibilities, to finish with an impeccable work, which do not leave doubts, finally spread and disseminate the results product of the fascinating process of research.
