Make Me A Dishwasher Pierce My Heart Maybe If We Praise Him

On this solo-guitar album Neal plays in keys which provide the appropriate chord voicings and uses a capo to transpose the instrument to a key which suits the preferred sound and vocal range. This method produces songs in guitar-unfriendly keys of Db, Bbm, F# and Eb. Isaiah 60 is pitched in the key of Eb by tuning the guitar down one semitone. All transposed charts indicate the actual sounding key for the benefit of other instruments. Guitar parts are accurately transcribed from Neal's performances despite there being alternative ways to match the keys. Example: The talking blues is in the guitar-friendly key of G but Neal plays in the key of E with a capo at fret-3 in order to add the bluesy licks.

In typical talking-blues style the verses vary in length. While Neal's tempo varies a little his timing is good given the rhythmic variety of his vocal delivery. However, in the "frying pan" verse Neal plays the A-lick early and then maybe gets lost adding an extra two beats into the next line.
