They reported less swelling after four days and less bruising after three than those who didnt use magnets. Studies involving polio victims and people with chronic foot pain had similar results. And pain may not be the only trouble magnets can treat. Research from the University of California at Los Angeles suggests they may help deliver chemotherapy drugs to tumor sites in some cancer patients.
