Food for Thought


There are three areas in which, I believe we are to examine on a regular basis: 1) Doing justly; 2) Loving mercy; and 3) Walking humbly with God. People have tried all kinds of ways to please God (see verses 6-7), but God has made His wishes clear. He wants His people to be just, merciful, and to walk humbly with Him. For the real Christians, this shouldnt be a difficult task seeing that we are bought with a price. We have a mandate to glorify God in our spirits and our bodies which are Gods. So, in our efforts to please God, we must continue to examine these three areas on a regular basis. Are we fair in our dealings with people? Do we show mercy to those who wrong us? Are we learning humility from the things we suffer? Or have experienced? As Christians, these are the things we should be doing from the heart, which in turn become pleasing to God.

Monthly Church Meetings


Childrens Church 1st, 3rd, & 5th Sunday for Ages 3-12 Note: Snacks and beverages are provided. Usher Board Meets on the 1st Sunday of each month. Hospitality Committee Meets on an as needed basis. Women of Light (WOL) Meets bi-monthly on the 3rd Sunday of each month. Mens Ministry Meets on an as needed basis. Youth Fellowship Meets on the 4th Sunday of each month Fasting & Prayer GTOP has designated Tuesday as the day for the congregation to fast and pray. Easter Play: A Fight for Your Life

New Beginners Bible Study Class


This class is held on Wednesday at 8pm in the large classroom. This is a class to help beginners and/or anyone understand God's word! BASIC questions about God and Jesus are answered! Our regular bible study is held in the sanctuary.

CELL PHONE EVANGELISM


GTOPs Cell Phone Evangelism occurs on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month. Members are asked to call someone (on their cell phone) whos in need of prayer. Once members have someone on the phone, the designated person will begin corporate prayer. Please be sure to have your cell phone on vibrate during the worship service.
