The sheer power and velocity the Jupiter brought to the work was breathtaking - The Syracuse Post-Standard In addition to receiving the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant, the Jupiters have won first prize in the Banff International String Quartet Competition, grand prize in the Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, and membership in Lincoln Centers Chamber Music Society Two.

This Colonial Revival stone barn, known for its excellent acoustics, provides an informal yet intimate concert setting. Free parking and picnic sites available.

The Festivals annual celebration of the flute features Guo-Liang Han of the China National Symphony Orchestra. Also scheduled to perform are Henrik Wiese of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the extraordinary Linda Chesis, and the New York Summer Music Festival International Flute Institute.

The Juilliard String Quartet

A Festival finale not to be missed! The Grammy-winning Juilliard String Quartet presents a program of late Beethoven quartets. The Juilliard String Quartet is the first classical music ensemble to be honored by The Recording Academy with its Lifetime Achievement Award. JSQ members are: Joseph Lin and Ronald Copes, violin; Samuel Rhodes, viola; and Joel Krosnick, cello.

The grand and lovely Iroquois will be the Festivals home for a number of this summers concerts. A magnificent, Federal-style building, the Iroquois overlooks the Hudson River. Concerts are held in the Ballroom. Free parking is available in the hotels lot.

Horszowski Trio

Two-time Grammy-nominated violinist Jesse Mills; Raman Ramakrishnan, founding cellist of the prize-winning Daedalus Quartet; and pianist Rieko Aizawa, who made her U.S. concerto debuts at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall, take their inspiration from legendary pianist Mieczyslaw Horszowski.
