Preston Under 17 team goes on to the next round of the Miller Cup with confidence after defeating Brighton by 4 goals to nil. Jeavons and Horabin scored for Preston. while 1'urner, Binns and Cla,rk also pulled their weight during the match. Preston Under 15 team was defeated by South Melbourne United in a close match by 2 goals to 1. The United boy~' system .won them. t'he day. Salter and Peachey were Preston's best players.

thoroughly enjoyed themselves at a smokl: night held in honour of our South Australian and Tasmanian visitors. Our guests voted the trip, and the arrangements for their reception and stay a great success. Brighton is proud of the achievements of ItS Under 19 team, who up to and including Saturday, 12th June, has not lost a point and has a goal average of 37 goals for and 4 against. University Versus Hakoah l.R.C. The University team which is unbeaten in the Third Di,rision put up a spleridid fight. and a real good game of soccer was produced.
