Cultural Show and Mr. & Ms. PUPQC 2013 September 20, 2013 All Students of PUP Quezon City

The Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Quezon City Campus held its Cultural Show and Mr. & Ms. PUPQC Pageant last September20, 2013 at the PUPQC Covered Court. Students are encouraged to join the aforementioned activity as part of its tradition during its founding anniversary. The program started with an Opening Remarks from Prof. Rodrigo Dolorosa. Afterwards, selected students from BBTE 2-1 performed an intermission number. Then, the judges for Mr. and Ms. PUPQC were introduced. The judges were Prof. Rodrigo Dolorosa, Mr. Dominador De Guzman, Prof. CherrylynEsparagoza and Mr. Jaime Agub. The concept are as follows: I. Rationale: Being physically active thru different activities help the students develop their physical and social skills that create good social environment for the students. This momentous activity helps the students to prepare and build for a better relationship among the studentry. II. General Objective: Develop holistic personality emphasizing the balanced growth cognitively, physically, emotionally and socially; Specific Objective: Equip the students with learning opportunities through active participation in the different activities. Foster camaraderie among the professors and students alike. III. Participant: PUPQC Campus students only. IV.Requirements/ activities Students Day: o Cultural Show

Mag-aaralngUnibersidadsaSining at Adhika (MUSA) started the presentation from their MUSA Dance troupe. The performance was seconded by the Bachelor in Business Teacher Education (BBTE) students and other performances coming from various year level and courses. During the Pageant night, representatives from different student organization named as Junior Management Society (JMS), Future Business Teacher Organization (FBTO), Youth Entrepreneurs Society (YES), Distinguished Organization of Management Technologist and Corporate Specialist (DOMT.Cs) and Commonwealth Information Technology Society (CommITS) had showcased their talents and revealed intelligence during the question and answer portion. After such performance and questions, Mr. Isaiah Axel King of YES Organization and Ms. Paulyne Erika David won the MR. & MS. PUPQC title.
