Earth Grounding the Cabine ets

Principles for grounding the BTS3900A:
The upper cabinets are connected to the lower cabinets with equipotential cables. The lower cabinets are connected to the RFCs. The RFCs are connected to the grounding busbar with PGND cables.
The PGND cable and signal cable cannot be bound or entangled. A certain distance must be reserved between them to prevent interference from each other other.

2 Connecting the Transmission Cables s

Principles for routing the transmission cables 1 The transmission cables cannot cross the power cable, PGND cable, or RF cable when routed. Otherwise, the spacing between them must be greater than 30 mm. m Extra length of transmission cables must be reserved d when they are curved.

The E1/T1 cable or FE/GE cable can be used for data transmission acc cording to the transmission mode of the base station. Only one transmission mode can be supported by the base station working in the GSM standard, and two transmission modes can be supported by the base station working in the UMTS standard.

1. (Optional) Connect inter-RFU RF signal cable. 2. Add the DIN connectors to the RF jumpers.
RFU Inter-RFU RF signal cable RX_IN RX_OUT For details, see the instruction guide contained in the DIN connector package.

3. Route the RF jumper through the base into the RFC.

Ensure that the DIN male elbow connector is perpendicular to the RFU.

4. Connect the RF jumper.

During the installation, do not rotate the DIN male elbow connector. This prevents any damage to the connector.

RFC C

TMC11H

The seal modules for the cable holes in the IBBS S200D or the IBBS200T are the same as that in the TMC11H. It is not necessary to install the seal modules in the TMC11H, when the TMC11H is stacked on the RFC. It is not necessary to install the seal modules in the IBBS200D or IBBS200T, when the IBBS200D or IBBS200T is stacked on the other IBBS200D or IBBS200T.

2 Sealing the Cable Holes in the Cabine et with the Seal Modules
Install the cable according to the size of the cable hole (The following takes the seal modules in RFC as an example).
Lead the cable through the cable hole that matches the cross-sectional area of the cable in order that the sealing is effective.

Tighten the screw.

Seal the id dle holes w rubber with ca aps

3 Sealing the Base

1. Close the cable holes on both sides and at the rear of the base. 2. Seal the cable holes with fireproof clay.

Check whether the paint on the cabinet surface is damaged. If the paint is damaged, repair the damaged paint. The PVC corrugated pipe is recommended for the cable led out of the cabinet. The fireproof clay can be used to seal the cable holes of the base. It cannot be used to seal the cable holes of the cabinet.

Installing the Batteries

1 Installing the Batteries
Before installing storage batteries, set the circuit breaker labeled BAT on the EPU in the APM30H cabinet and two circuit breakers labeled BAT on the PDB in the battery cabinet to OFF. This prevents high current. During the installation of the batteries, use insulated tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers, and do not reversely connect the positive and negative poles. poles Otherwise, Otherwise the batteries may burn, burn and the operations may cause human injuries. APM30H IBBS200D/T

Push the baffle plate upwards until it is contact with the screws, and then tighten the screws.

2 Installing the Power Cables for the Batteries

Remove the protecting hood. Install the copper bar for series connections.

Install the neg gative cable.

Install the positive cable.

Checking the Power-on State

This chapter describes only the power-on check of the equip pment. The base station must be powered on in seven days after installatio on. This takes the power-on check procedure in the AC power su upply scenario as an example. For details about the procedure in the DC powe er supply scenario, see the following procedure. Ensure that the external power supply is normal before powe er on, and that all the MCBs in the cabinet are set to OFF.
