3rd Call for EPSF Working Groups 2013-2014

Call for EPSF Working Groups and Coordinators 2013-2014


EPSF working group members and coordinators are the primary help in accomplishing EPSF projects. They work directly with EPSF's Chairpersons and Executive Board members on planning, preparing, evaluating and following up with the event. With total supervision of the executive member they overview and supervise the work of local associations and the progress of EPSF projects locally. They also help in preparing for the national events, collect reports and make analysis of every step made. Coordinators and working groups are members of EPSF in their local associations who also work on the semi-national level of EPSF. They can either be board members or active members in their association. However, working on the semi-national level is completely independent from their work on the local side. Confidentiality, professionalism, high commitment and exclusiveness are key tool that every working group member sticks to in order to keep the work going smoothly and to make sure the society is always surprised with new up-to-date accomplishments by EPSF. Being devoted and specific in work is highly preferred and advised for EPSF working groups as to attain maximum benefits for each committee; that's why it is recommended that you do not be involved in more than two working groups for better outcomes. Being multi-tasked is also essential as you will be attached to more than one tasks at one time and you should stay focused and keep your time management at its highest level. As a working group member, you are required to have regular and daily access to internet and e-mails. You shall have basic knowledge of using Microsoft office and online forms. You will also need to have good or at least basic soft skills as you will be dealing in a generally formal and professional style in most of the time. Candidates should send their filled-in nominations along with a recent CV and a recommendation letter from their association's president approving their applying to EPSF Working Groups to EPSF Secretary General at sec.gen@e-psf.org no later than Saturday, March 1st, 2014, 11:59 (GMT+2).

Papers should be complete and please follow the instructions of the call.

Organizing Committee
As a member in Organizing Working Group, you will work under supervision of EPSF Chairperson of Organizing Committee. Requirement Previous experience in organizing events. High team working and time management skills. To be devoted for the work of EPSF Organizing Committee. It is preferred to own a car. Availability during and before the time of national events Tasks OC working group members are expected to have total responsibility of: 1. Organizing national events. 2. Distributing material to local associations. 3. Providing logistics and required materials for national events. 4. Providing a proper place for storage of materials. 5. Archive working group


Archive Team members work under the supervision of EPSF Secretary General on EPSF Archive Projects and to assist in some other tasks. Requirements: Excellent professional writing skills. Tasks: Good knowledge of EPSF Constitution is highly recommended. Interest in archiving and documentation. Members should be highly organized, committed and respecting deadlines. Good communication, presentation skills and creativity. Good skills in using Microsoft Office applications and Google applications. Good skills in data analysis. Devotion for the work of EPSF Archive is recommended.

1- Work on EPSF Documentation System EPSF Archive. 2- Create toolkits to aid and train the local secretary generals about documentation. 3- Prepare and instruct workshops for Secretary Generals during Annual Congress, Symposium and during the year. 4- Assist in GA preparations and CWG meetings and help in writing minutes of GA. 5- Follow up with local secretary generals in their Archive-related tasks. 6- Follow up documentation process and handover process with local associations.

Editorial Board
Editorial Board works under the direct supervision of EPSF Contact Person. Requirements: Tasks: EPSF Editorial Board is an essential part of EPSFs International representation. 1. Creatively spreading EPSFs news using different channels. 2. Editing and proofreading EPSF Activity Reports and other documentations sent to the IPSF and other International organizations. 3. Writing, editing, or proofreading EPSF periodical Newsletters and publications. 4. Writing, editing, or proofreading Articles to be published on EPSF website and blog. Fluency in spoken and written English is a MUST. Good knowledge of EPSF policies and activities. Creative writing skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Official Photographers:
Photographers will work under supervision of Media and Publications Committee Chairperson and will be committed to deliver all their photographs to him once the project had ended . The main tasks are to use tools, cameras, lenses, and lights to shoot EPSF national projects, events, meetings and preparations . You must own a high resolution camera and you should have high team work ability. Its highly recommended to have an artistic talent with technical skill to produce professional photographs.
