One Dollar Heart Bookmark

This one dollar heart bookmark was adapted from the heart bookmarkmade from a square created by Fumiaki Shingu.

Place a US dollar bill so that the green side is up. Fold lengthwise into quarters and unfold. Fold the top corner at a ! degree angle so the corner meets the quarter crease" mark made abo#e. This forms a small triangle. %ountain fold the top of the dollar bill using the base of the small triangle as a landmark. &nce this is done' you can unfold the small triangle.

(alley fold the top"left and top"right corners towards the central crease line. )f possible' align the paper so the number *1* and word *&+,* -oin up nicely .e"fold the dollar bill lengthwise along the quarter crease line made in step 1. /t the same time' lift the triangular flap made in step . Step 1: Start with a square sheet of paper. Place the paper with the white-side facing up and oriented like a diamond. Fold the paper in half and unfold.

Step 2: Fold down the top-left edge and the topright edges of the paper so it meets the central crease made above.

Step 3: epeat! fold in the top-left and the top-right edges of the paper so the" align with the central crease.

Step 4: Fold up the bottom corner of the model so the models looks like a skinn" triangle.

Step 5: #nfold the last two steps so "ou are back at step $.

Step 6: Fold up the bottom corner of the model. #se the crease made in step % as a guide &connect red dots'.

Step 7: efold the model as "ou did in steps $.

Step 8: (urn the model over.

Step 9: Fold the model in half from right to left.

4nvert the two la"ers of paper and fold the tip back down b" using the crease made in step 25 as a guide. Section - is complete.

Step 11: 6e*t we will do an 4nside everse fold. 1alle" fold the tip of the model. Make the fold about half wa" so section - is about the same length as sections .7/. -ctual distance is not critical.
