HIGHLIGHTS OF THE WINTER the Lord for the initiative of the student leaders and their love for their Exploring Christmas colleagues. We pray that students who heard the Gospel will be won for Christ. Graduate Ministry Coordinator

THE IMPACT OF THE GOSPEL but Christian graduates are naturally present at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. We thank the Lord that we can serve students after they have finished university and develop discipleship and mentoring relationships. The Gospel produces Faith

We all celebrated Christmas and waited impatiently for the arrival of this celebration. For students, Christmas means entertainment, holiday, rest, presents and the joy of being with friends. In December, there were 57 students at the CSC office, who explored the significance of Christmas and were challenged to think about why Christ came into this World? and to make a decision for Christ to be Lord and Saviour in their lives. We were very glad that at this event students from both Chisinau and Balti participated. Christian students had the chance to invite thier friends and together to go to the student residences of the Teacher Training University, in order to present the Gospel message and to sing carols about the birth of Jesus. In the month of December, Rodica Rosior passed on the role to the new graduates coordinator, Doina Marin. Graduates meet for Bible study, themed based discussion with the aim of encouragment, to equip themselves and to get practical wisdom whilst discussing their experiences at the work place. It is one of the few groups where Christians can learn how to keep their Christian identity and to grow in their Character, demonstrating integrity and professionalism amongst their colleagues, so that Biblical truth can shine in those places where priests, preachers and evangelists can't reach,

(Victoria,Paraschiva,Jenea,Diana) You already know Diana and her student hall group. They formed a girl's group last semester which meets weekly for Bible study and discussion about the Christian life. A few of them participated in the 'Bible and Life' conference last Octomber. At the beginning of this year, a girl from the group, called Victoria, decided to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Praise the Lord for the power of the Gospel and your prayers. Pray for repentance for all the girls in this group.

Team Retreat At the beginning of this semester, retreats took place for the local teams. We thank the Lord for the 2 staffworkers and 6 student leaders in Balti and for the 2 staffworkers and 9 student leaders in Chisinau. The retreats were a wonderful time of encouragment and motivation inspired by God's word. The aim of the retreats was to consolidate the local teams and to recruit potential leaders. There is a prayer need for new workers and volunteers who will have dedication and vision for evangelism. And for the local teams to have maximum impact in the life of student residences and universities in Moldova. The Gospel Motivates to action We are grateful for His work amongst students from Balti. Students have passion for God's work. God is inspiring and encouraging them to something new and creative. We are glad that students grow and become responsible and mature. A student leader said, "I thank God that I can present the gospel message in our difficult days. As this is our responsibility, I think that it is important to awaken the interest of our friends to come close to God and take action. Therefore, I suggested that at CSC we organise special evenings in order to elaborate plans for how to win more students for Christ, to exchange experiences and to cultivate enthusiasm and to stregnthen our student fellowship". Alexandru Chitoraga, student in Balti. "I thank God that a community like CSC exists. Since I have participated in this community, my life has radically changed. In the first place, my relationship with God has become closer. And I have made many Christian friends who have the same ideas and goals. I have somebody to pray with and to share victories. Now I have more assurance and courage to speak with my colleagues about God". A student of Medicine, who recently got involved in CSC.

Praise the Lord for these students who desire to change their community and aren't indifferent to their colleagues.

Purchase a property for The Student Center &Ministry office in Balti - estimated at 45,000 Euros. We already have 50% of this and so need 15,000 Euros more.

Let us praise God for what was done and pray for what is coming up:
Evangelism
to increase the number of new believers through evangelistic events on more campuses, and evangelism training.

Pray also for: *For the tens of non-christian students from last semester, that we can reestablish and continue to develop evangelistic relationships and for discipleship relationships with Christian students. *The consolidation of the local teams. * For our partners from Australia, they want to help us purchase office in Balti. * For students who participated in the training "Bible & Life" to start new groups. * Our financial needs. The help of 15 more friends giving $100 USA or 30 friends - $50 USA monthly, will enable us to achieve our plans.
