This summer the Mana Quartet returns to Chestertown, MD for their annual residency Serving Sizesat the National Music Festival from June 1-14. Mana welcomes saxophonists of all ages to participate in this two week intensive course. During this exciting event, Mana will offer private instruction and a series of seminars where they will share their experience and skill with participants. In addition, all participants will have the opportunity to perform in quartets, saxophone orchestra and may be able to perform alongside other orchestral musicians. In these ensemble rehearsals, some of the most important aspects of music making (style, intonation, tonal variation, musical interaction) will be thoroughly examined.
