We are back Getting to know a friend 1.2 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to listen and respond appropriately in formal and informal situations for variety of purposes. 1.2.1 Able to participate in daily conversations: a. exchange greetings b. talk about oneself d. introduce family members and friends At the end of the lessons pupils will be able to: 1. Ask simple questions requiring answers on social expressions 2. Use correct social expressions by completing dialogue with the missing phrases 1. Teacher asks a pupil to stand in front of the class. 2. Teacher introduces the pupils to the class by using the same dialogue in their textbook page 2. 3. Teacher ask pupils to talk about themselves by forming talk partners. 4. Teacher ask pupils to work in pairs for a period of time and let them talk to each other by questioning one another using questions in a given sheet a. What is your name? b. Where are you from? c. Where do you live? d. What is your hobby? 5. Teacher ask pupils to complete dialogue by fill in missing phrases as an exercise EK1(1.1)
