Legal ConsiderationsCopyright:
The legal right granted to an author, composer, playwright, publisher, or distributor to exclusive publication, production, sale, or distribution of a literary, musical, dramatic, or artistic work. This doesnt apply to my work as all of my photographs will be unique and taken by me, also all the tag lines and articles will have been created by me.
Discrimination:
Discrimination is the unequal treatment of individuals, usually on the basis of gender, race, age, religion or disability. It is a negative action towards members of a specific social group. This needs to apply to my work as all the photographs need to be relevant and not discriminate against any gender or group in particular. I will do this by not including any photos or words that would be considered to be racist, that no disability has been offended and that both genders have been included in the photo shoots.
Obscenity:
The state or quality of being obscene. Indecency, lewdness, or offensiveness in behaviour, expression, or appearance, such as a word, act, or expression, that is indecent This law should be applied to my work in order to not offend anyone in the target audience; all the photos should not include any offensive words, acts or expressions.
Ethical ConsiderationsPose:
When considering the ethical codes for magazines in the media industry the pose of the model needs to be relevant, I also need to consider that the pose isnt revealing or obscene.
Dress:
Dress is another part that has to be considered. All the clothes that have been used have to cover the models so that the pictures are appropriate.
Representation:
- Sexuality No sexuality should be offended in any way for any of the photos as it could deter the magazine from being professional. - Race No prop, item of clothing or pose should cause any offence to the race of a person, none of the models will be swearing, using racial features and keep from being unlawful. - Teenagers One of my models is under the age of 18 so the law of privacy of children would be used here. This person cannot be seen to be using racial movement, be smoking, stood in an undeserving manor or wear obscene clothing.
