The last time the Lakers achieved this feat was on 2/4/98 vs. POR when Eddie Jones (28 points), Kobe Bryant (26 points), Nick Van Exel (23 points) and Shaquille ONeal (21 points) all scored 20+ points.

SCORING BIG
The Lakers put together their best offensive performance of the season, setting or tying season-highs in points scored, field goals made, field goal percentage for a game, points and field goal percentage in a half, fastbreak points (at the time) and assists 2/28 vs. SAC. Los Angeles scored 126 points to set a new season-high (previously 119, 2/5 at CLE). Made a season-high 48 of their 80 attempted field goals en route to a season-high 60 percent shooting, marking the first time since 1/25/11 vs. UTA (44-71 FG; 62.0 FG%) that the club has sunk at least 60 percent floor. YOUTH IS SERVED
The majority of the Lakers roster is very youthful, especially in the wake of swapping 11-year pro Steve Blake for guards Kent Bazemore and MarShon Brooks on February 19. The 15-man Los Angeles roster now features rookie Ryan Kelly, sophomores Bazemore, Kendall Marshall and Robert Sacre, Xavier Henry and Wesley Johnson (three years of experience), Jordan Hill and Jodie Meeks (four) and Jordan Farmar and Nick Young (six).

BEALE STREET BLOCK PARTY

Los Angeles recorded their fourth double-digit block game of the season with 10, 2/26 at MEM. Wesley Johnson led the way with four rejections (one shy of his career mark), while Ryan Kelly matched his career-best output with three. The Lakers also blocked 10 shots in the first meeting of the season in Memphis (12/17). L.A. blocked 10+ shots in consecutive games for the first time this season (season-high 12 blocks 2/25 at IND). The 12 blocks were the most by the Lakers in a game since swatting 12 shots 3/16/12 in a home win against Minnesota. The four games of 10+ blocks matches the number L.A. recorded in 2012-13 and are the most since 2010-11 when the team had six-such games.

MARSHALL LAW
Kendall Marshall has ruled this season, especially in his 23 games as a starter, where he is averaging 9.8 points and 11.0 assists. 2/19 vs. HOU, Marshall scored 20 points with 16 assists, the first 20/16 game in Lakers franchise history since Nick Van Exel did so 1/31/95. o Marshalls three steals tied his career-high, set 2/11 vs. UTA. The second-year guard has notched 14+ assists seven times, good for the second most in the NBA this year. He is 7th in the NBA with 12 point/assist double-doubles, achieved in just 32 game and has handed out double-digit assists in 17 of those games.

STARTER-UP
The Lakers used their 29th different starting lineup of the season 2/23 vs. BKN (Marshall-Meeks-Gasol-Johnson-Bazemore). With Kent Bazemore starting at small forward 2/23 vs. BKN, he became the 16th different Laker to start a game this season. So far this season, there have been six different players to start at point guard and small forward, and three apiece at power forward, center and shooting guard. No player has started every game this season and as early as the sixth game of the year, no position had the same starter every game. The Lakers used 10 consecutive different starting lineups between December 17th and January 5th.

BENCH MOBBED
The Laker bench unit of Jordan Farmar-Kent Bazemore-MarShon Brooks-Jordan Hill and Chris Kaman led a furious comeback 2/21 vs. BOS, including outscoring Boston 38 to 18 (+20) in the fourth quarter, the largest positive margin for the Lakers in a quarter this season. The five-man substitute lineup played the final 14:48 of the game together, turning an 11-point deficit (59-70) into a nine-point win, outscoring the Celtics 42 to 22 (+20) in that time. o Hill played the final 18:27 of the game and Bazemore played the final 17:11 of action. The 63 points scored by the bench were the fifth-most contributed by the second unit this season.

BENCH BOOST
This season, the L.A. bench has outscored their counterparts 40 times in 60 games. Some other notes on the Laker bench this season: The Laker season-high for points this season have come from bench scorers (N. Young 31 points, 1/20 at CHI; J. Farmar 30 points, 2/28 vs. SAC). The Laker bench is 2nd in the league in scoring at 41.0 points per game. The Lakers leading scorer has come from the bench 25 times this season (two ties). Five second unit players hit the double-digit mark in the season opener 10/29 vs. LAC and 12/8 vs. TOR, and four players scored 10+ from the bench 10/30 at GSW and 11/5 at DAL. As a result of the benchs strong play, seven different Lakers have scored in double -figures four different times this season, a feat which L.A. achieved just once in 2012-13 (1-0).

RULE NO. 3; SECTION 1

With 14 players on the roster and eight of them unavailable due to injury 2/5 at CLE, after Chris Kaman fouled out and Robert Sacre picked up his sixth foul of the game, a rarely-used NBA rule was used whereby Sacre could remain in the game in exchange for a technical foul, with each of his fouls going forward counting as a technical as well. The last time this circumstance occurred in the NBA involved Golden State's Devean George on April 14th, 2010.

FIVE THRIVE
On 2/13 vs. OKC, all five Lakers starters scored at least 13 points, marking the fifth time this season in which all five starters scored in double-figures.

20/20/20

6th MAN OF THE YEAR?

Nick Young, currently out with a knee injury, has made a strong case for the NBAs annual Sixth Man of the Year Award all season, hitting the 20-point mark in 14 of his last 26 games, including a season-high for any Laker with 31 points 1/20 at CHI, the 13th 30-point game of his career. As a reserve, Young is averaging 17.9 points per game, ranking him 2nd in the NBA for points per game among players who have come off the bench 20 or more times. As a reserve, Young has scored efficiently, shooting 42.9% from the floor and 37.3% from deep. Young has led the Lakers in scoring a team-high 17 times (one tie), 16 of those times as a reserve. Swaggy P has been the benchs leading scorer 32 times in his 40 games with the second unit. He is currently 5th in the league in points per touch (0.42).

THR33 FOR ALL

Nine different Lakers have made three-pointers in a game three times so far this season: 11/5 at DAL, 11/3 vs. ATL and 10/29 vs. LAC.
