You have to do the compulsory tasks: 1. Complete the portal task Australias future Human Rights internet exercise 2. Text book read Pg 348 358 Answer questions: Understanding the text 1-10, 13, 14

3. Write a list of definitions for: Genocide, discrimination, UNESCO, UDHR, UNHCR, CROC, HRW

4. List all the human rights concerns in Australia and give an example for each one (use your text book)

Choose at least 4 of the following tasks: Homeless Youth create an organisation that could address youth homelessness. Name this organisation. You need to create a report to the board of directors listing all your achievements for the past year, and that which you hope to accomplish in the near future. Remember to give actual facts and figures to support. Read articles 25 and 26 from the Universal declaration of Human Rights http://www.un.org/en/documents/udhr/index. shtml#atop Choose ONE of the articles - Write a letter to the editor whereby you highlight a group of people in Australia who do not have this right, say why they do not in your opinion, and what can be done about it. Create an interview with one of the members of the Human Rights Watch who was present at the Beijing Olympic Games, asking questions and gaining detailed answers about the issues of human rights abuse in China at the time.
