The Organization and Staffing transaction is the easiest way to manage SAP HR OM(Organization Management) for an end-user who does not have an in-de th! technica" #now"edge of SAP$ This is a user-friend"y transaction accessi%"e via Human Resources&Organizationa" Management&Organizationa" P"an& Organization and Staffing&'reate! 'hange! (is "ay$ SAP Transaction 'odes 'reate -PPO') 'hange- PPOM) (is "ay -PPOS) *or a"" three transactions the main screen is divided into two areas O%+ect Manager , -or# Area$

)ach of the two main areas is su%divided into anes. /$ Object Manager -'om rising a search area and a selection area. How to Deli+it a Position


3f! %ecause of a restructuring! the osition shou"d cease to %e avai"a%"e! you shou"d 7OT de"ete the osition from the system %ut roceed with de"imitation of the osition$The rere9uisite to %e a%"e to de"imit a osition is that no active em "oyee is "in#ed to it$ 3f that is the case! first the em "oyee shou"d %e terminated or moved to another osition$6e sure that you rea""y do not need this osition %efore roceeding %ecause this action is very difficu"t to ro"" %ac#$ 3n order to de"imit a osition roceed as fo""ows. -hi"e in SAP transaction PPO#E

Organizational Unit' 1e"resents a functional unit in your enter"rise, 2uman 1esources de"artment, for e3am"le. %ccording to how tasks are divided u" within an enter"rise, this could )e a de"artment, grou" or "ro*ect team, "lant, for e3am"le.
