As an Instructional Designer I hold a bachelors degree in Communication and Secondary Education. My skills include Adult Education, performing needs analysis, online multimedia and e-learning design, video production, interactive media and web design. Additionally I have proven experience in gap/needs analysis, advanced adult learning theory, familiarity with SCORM and AICC, and evaluation strategy application. Proficient software abilities include: Adobe Captivate, Camtasia Studio, Articulate Storyline, and Adobe Master Suite CS5 and 6 Premier Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, and Dreamweaver. Currently I am pursuing a Graduate degree in Educational Technology specializing in Instructional Design and Adult Education. I have applied for graduation for the spring of 2014. My cumulative GPA is 4.0

Instructional Design Intern Scentsy Inc. Meridian, Idaho


As an Instructional Design Intern, I was a part of the Learning and Development team. In this role I designed and developed instructional training tools. I was directly involved in developing observation and assessment tools for the companys career development program . Additionally I created an On the Job Training program for use in the operations area, specifically for manufacturing, shipping, and warehouse functions. Finally I worked on projects such as Effective Training Techniques a program designed to provide advanced level training skills .

Communication/Media Specialist Idaho State AFL-CIO Boise, Idaho


As the Communication/Media Specialist I was responsible for developing the Idaho AFL-CIOs strategic and integrated communications plan. I developed and implemented internal and external communications, media relations, public relations and interactive media design. This function required a high level of self-direction. Additionally, in this position I was responsible for the creation of instructional tools, assessment and presentation in order to impart knowledge to our members. Software use includes Adobe Captivate, CS6 Production Suite including Premier Pro, Dreamweaver, InDesign, Illustrator, and extensive use of Microsoft Office.

I delivered instructor lead training on a course by course basis. The topics ranged from introduction to the internet and basic networking to advanced use of applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe CS6. Technical Account Trainer/Manager Hewlett-Packard


Boise Idaho As a 15 year HP employee I gained experience in areas such as instruction and leadership. My final years were spent in Premier Accounts as a training designer and facilitator. Activities included visits to Premier Account locations to teach end-users how to work within new network and printing systems offered by Hewlett-Packard. It was in this roll that I received Hewlett-Packards highest award for service (the CSO MVP Award) in 2001. Performed roll as Quality Support Technician who was responsible for creating online training modules for call center representatives who supported customers.
