3 God's Word Is Medicine God's Word is spoken of in Proverbs 4:22 as being medicine to all our flesh.

It is the most powerful medicine available toda ! and it is capable of healing our bod without side effects. Psalm "#$:2# tells us that God sent %is Word and healed.. . &ccording to Isaiah '(:'!) and " Peter 2:24! healing is a fact as far as God is concerned. It belongs to us because healing was in the atonement. *Isa. '(:'!).+ ,ur confession of the Word of God calls for healing which is alread ours but is not in manifestation in our bodies. -o! I am not teaching against doctors or medicine. .ut don't depend on doctors or medicine alone to keep ou health . /here are some diseases that medical science cannot cure. .ut! if ou need a doctor! see a doctor. 0an lives are saved ever ear through medical help. /here are medicines toda that are beneficial in aiding the bod 's healing process. If ou are taking medicine! mi1 faith with it b sa ing! 2I believe I receive m healing in 3esus' -ame.2 0an's medicines will not heal ou! and generall will not keep ou from being healed. 4et there are some medicines toda that have so man side effects the seem to be worse than the disease. 5o ask some 6uestions and find out what ou are taking. 0ost medicine will help hold down the s mptoms while ou are appl ing God's principles concerning healing and health. I don't advocate that ou throw our medicine awa and rel on confession alone unless the 7ord directs ou to do so. It takes time to renew our mind and develop faith in our words as well as God's Word. .ut the things ou are continuall confessing eventuall become a part of ou. It is true! God has provided healing for us through %is Word. .ut we must learn to appropriate that healing b making the Word a part of our dail vocabular . I believe b being taught properl and b practicing our faith ou can grow to a point where it will be a common thing for ou to receive healing through the Word of God. .ut it doesn't happen overnight. It takes time to develop our faith! so if ou have a life or death situation where the doctors sa if ou don't have an operation immediatel ou will die 8 in other words! the disease has a head start on our faith 8 m advice would be to

have the operation and believe God for a 6uick recover . 9se some common sense and don't do foolish things through spiritual pride and call it faith. It takes time to develop faith to operate in these principles! so don't let an one put ou under condemnation for going to doctors or having an operation. In other words! operate on our level of faith! but don't sta on that level forever. :ontinue in God's Word until ou develop faith in the healing power of God's Word. God's Word is creative power. /he worlds were framed b the Word of God. :onfessing the Word of God can also change our world. It can change an image of sickness into an image of healing and health. ,perating in these principles is not eas . It takes discipline and commitment. It's not good enough to ;ust read these confessions. I encourage ou to confess the Word audibl over our bod two or three times a da . :onfess it with authorit . It is not necessar for ou to make these confessions before other people! for the words ou speak are for our benefit.
