By the end of the lesson, pupils will be to tell their friends about the importance of each character in a story. Textbook, activity book, whiteboard 1. Pupils read the contemporary literature on page 10 (textbook). 2. Teacher and pupils discuss about the short dialogue that adapted from Graphic Dickens: Oliver Twist, retold by Hillary Burningham. 3. Pupils and teacher answers the question based on the literature. 4. Pupils in group talk about the characters that play important part of the story. 5. Pupils write the answers in E3.
