D. Purpose of Study

At the end of the study, students idividually, pairs, or group are able to make one sample of announcement in correct order E. Material Announcement Text

Example: Announcement To all first grade students, please join of these extracurricular activities: SWIMMING Every Friday: 15.00-16.30 at Pancasila Swimming Pool MUSIC Every Saturday: 12.30-14.00 at school convention hall TAE KWON DO Every Wednesday: 16.00-18.00 at school gymnasium See your class counselor for registration. F. Method : PPP (Presentation Practice Production) G. Procedures Pre-teaching 1) Teacher greets the students and prepares the tools. 2) Students pray. 3) Teacher checks the attendance list. 4) To arouse the students interest, teacher shows a sample of announcement and asks the students to read it silently. 5) Teacher asks some question related with the announcement that will be discuss. Such as: What kind of the text? Have you ever seen the text?

Can you find that in our school? Where you usually found the text?

6) Students answer the teachers questions 7) Teacher tells the students about the purpose of study.

Whilst teaching 1) Teacher explains to the students what is announcement, shows the students kinds of announcement in the school, and tells the students parts of announcement. 2) Teacher guides the students to analyze the announcement. 3) Students analyze sentence organization in the announcement with guiding from the teacher. 4) Teacher gives some question related to the announcement and students anwers the questions. 5) Teacher divide students into some groups. 6) Students make an announcement based on picture that given by the teacher with their groups.

Post Teaching 1) Teacher summarize or review the teaching learning that had done. 2) Teacher gives feedback and correction toward the students works. 3) Teacher gives homework to the students to make announcement individually.
