Dear Sir/Madam: HAGONOY YOUNG LEADERS PROGRAM (HYLeaP) Hagonoy Young Leaders Congress 2014 Call for Nominations Greetings of peace! HYLEAP, a community development oriented and volunteer-driven youth organization formed through a network of former boy/girl officials and Sangguniang Kabataan have continuously worked in the development of a stream of values-based servant leaders. Now on its 7TH year, HYLeaP with its flagship project the Hagonoy Young Leaders Congress, a 3-day leadership summit will gather 50 of the most promising youth leaders in Hagonoy. The unique experience of the congress features lectures, outdoor activities, plenary sessions and discussions designed to build the confidence and hone the leadership skills of the young leaders, nurture their commitment to integrity and principled leadership, foster their nationalism and idealism and encourage them to become faithful stewards of their communities and our towns future. Since 2008, we are delighted to recognize your continued support and partnership with HYLEAP in developing the leadership potentials of our youth. We hope that your institution will be there with us from nomination to post congress activities giving the necessary aid to your chosen representatives. In this regard, we invite you to send your 10 nominees, which will fit the following qualifications we are looking for:

FILIPINO citizen, 15-25 years old Bonafide resident of Hagonoy Model of integrity, discipline & excellence Recognized, active & effective youth leader Excellent communication skills Not have been subjected to any disciplinary case Well-rounded youth leaders w/ proven track record in active, effective leadership w/ results not just academic excellence Demonstrated passion for service Highly Involved in national, community & school issues Recognized excellence in a particular field (sports, theatre, dance, writing, debate etc.) Has a strong love for Hagonoy

The HYLeaP Secretariat will select the nominees according to the Screening Procedures.

The Screening process is as follows: 1. The nominees need to accomplish the application form attached in this letter. 2. The HYLeaP Secretariat Screening Committee will check the accomplished Application form upon receipt of submitted application forms. 3. There will be two levels of screening - paper screening and panel interview. a. During the paper screening, nominees will be evaluated based on the entries written in the application forms which include their leadership positions in your organization, attended leadership training, implemented projects and memberships in other organizations b. The nominees who passed the paper screening will then proceed to the panel interview. He/She will be assessed based on the leadership traits and personal characteristics that the Hagonoy Young Leaders Program is looking for. 4. Only the top 50 applicants will become delegates to the Hagonoy Young Leaders Congress. All nominees selected by your organization will submit their application to the designated HYLeaP Coordinator. Each nominees file should be placed individually in a short brown envelope. The HYLeaP Coordinator then must submit all applications placed in one long brown Application must be submitted on or before March 07, 2014.
