Objective of the Workshop This workshop is an introduction to recent advancement in technology used for embedded systems design. An emphasis shall be given to smart moving machines of the next generation, i.e., robots design, controlling automobiles like cars, trucks, machine tools, airplanes, communication using GPS systems and satellites, combine harvesters, etc. The objective is to introduce the roles and responsibilities of innovation project engineers in companies that design and develop such embedded systems. Design automation using existing standards tools to support the design in large-scale projects, in which no single person can keep the overview and control of the whole design process. Advantages of Embedded System:1. Enables real-time, deterministic scheduling and task prioritization 2. Abstracts away the complexities of the processor 3. Provides a solid infrastructure constructed of rules and policies 4. Simplifies development and improves developer productivity 5. Improves product reliability, maintainability and quality 6. Promotes product evolution and scaling Who should Participate This program is for the Engineering graduate students and PhD scholars from Computer Science and Engg/ECE /Electrical Engg. and industry personals with instrumentation background as well as young faculty members from MNIT and neighboring Institutes.
