SYSTEM INTEGRATOR (Feb 2013 To Date) SPEEDY AUTOMATION
I have been working as a System Integrator since Feb 2013. My work entails Selection and Design of PLC Controls Systems, Finalizing the technical details with the customer, Designing of HMI and PLC logic and providing technical assistance to the customer once the project goes live. I have worked on GE Fanuc Platform Tools: Proficy Cimplicity, Proficy Process Systems and Proficy Machine Edition. I have also integrated various 3rd party devices to PLC Control System via GE and KEP OPC server. Below are the projects that I have worked on:
Burner Management System at Attock Refinery Limited This system comprised of Boiler automation using GE Fanuc Rx3i PLC and Proficy Process Systems platform. Three Boilers HMI`s were integrated on a single HMI using Cimplicity HMI software. Siemens LMV52 controller parameters were integrated in the system over Modbus RTU using AZL device. AZL parameters were also provided on Siemens Recognized software ACS450. The architecture provided redundancy of not only Controllers but also Remote IO`s and Ethernet communication to provide safe and reliable operation. Daily reporting of critical parameters was provided. Sulphonation Plant Up Gradation at Colgate Palmolive Pvt Ltd Colgate Palmolive Sulphonation plant was upgraded from obsolete GE Fanuc 90-70 PLC series to GE

Fanuc Rx7i PLC. Completed HMI interface was redesigned on Cimplicity HMI software 8.2. Disributed IO`s (GE Fanuc VersaMax) were also added to the system and were controlled using Genius Bus protocol. Hardware Redundant Controller system was implemented. The Control system involved various PID loops, Motors and Pumps Control, Interlocking between critical devices, Sequential Processes, Emergency Sequences, Alarm Generation, Historical Trends and On demand Reporting using Visual FoxPro. Energy Monitoring Projects Energy Monitoring System provided running parameters of Air compressors, Boilers and Triple Phase Electrical Analyzers. Seneca S203TA Triple Phased Analyzers data was fetched over Modbus RTU protocol. Historical trending was available to the user using SQL server 2005. Advanced Reporting was implemented to provide timely and periodic reports of the system. Implemented at: General Tyre and Rubber Ltd The system was designed on GE Fanuc VersaMax Micro Series PLC. Seneca Triple phase analyzers were integrated to provide electrical parameters over MOD Bus RTU. Advanced Reporting software was provided on Visual FoxPro. Unilever RYK The system was designed on GE Fanuc 90 30 Series PLC. Complete trending of all parameters was provided. Daily, Monthly, Half yearly and yearly reporting software developed on Visual FoxPro was provided. Proline Textile The system was designed on GE Fanuc 90 30 Series PLC. Web monitoring of the HMI was implemented using Server client topology. Automatic report generation and emailing feature was provided over intranet.

GRADUATE TRAINEE ENGINEER (Feb 2011 Oct 2012) PAKISTAN REFINERY LIMITED
I have completed 21 months of training as Graduate Engineer in Instrument & Control Department. I have gained considerable knowledge about the field instruments and Digital Control Systems used in petrochemical industry. I have inspected and carried out configuration, calibration and commissioning of various Pneumatic/Digital instruments as well worked with PLC`s and DCS. FIELD INSTRUMENTS I have worked with various instruments installed for monitoring & controlling Pressure, Temperature, Level, and Flow. DISTRIBUTED CONTROL SYSTEM I have sound understanding of the DCS system and its architecture. I have good grasp and working skills on Yokogawa CENTUM CS 3000 and Honeywell EXPERION PKS R400 DCS systems. I was involved in the designing and implementation of SCHWIZER-300C Helicopter Simulator. My work encompassed designing of various control systems for the project using Microcontrollers as well as ensuring industrial standard wiring for the complete system.
