Author Guidelines for 8.5x11-inch Proceedings Manuscripts Author(s) Name(s) Author Affiliation(s) E-mail Abstract The abstract is to be in fully-justified italicized text, at the top of the lefthand column as it is here, below the author information. se the word !Abstract" as the title, in #$-point Times, boldface type, centered relati%e to the column, initially capitalized. All manuscripts must be in En'lish. 1. Introduction: These guidelines include complete descriptions of the fonts, spacing, and related information for producing your proceedings manuscripts. $. Author na!e%s& and affiliation%s& : Author names and affiliations are to be centered beneath the title and printed in Times '"-point, non-boldface type. 5ultiple authors may be sho!n in a t!o- or three-column format, !ith their affiliations belo! their respective names.

Affiliations are centered belo! each author name, italicized, not bold. 6nclude email addresses if possible. 7ollo! the author information by t!o blan) lines before main te$t.

Table titles are to be centered abo%e the tables.

11. Illustrations. graphs. and photographs : All graphics should be centered. Eour art!or) must be in place in the article (preferably printed as part of the te$t rather than pasted up). 6f you are using photographs and are able to have halftones made at a print shop, use a '((- or ''(line screen. 6f you must use photos, they must be pasted onto your manuscript. @se rubber cement to affi$ the halftones or photos in place. ;lac) and !hite, clear, glossy-finish photos are preferable to color. Cupply the best Auality photographs and illustrations possible. #enciled lines and very fine lines do not reproduce !ell. :emember, the Auality of the boo) cannot be better than the originals provided. /o not use tape on your pagesD 11.1. /olor i!ages in proceedings : The use of color on interior pages (that is, pages other than the cover of the proceedings) is prohibitively e$pensive. 6nterior pages may be published in color
