Arrange the pictures according to the story 2. Solve the crossword with guidance from teacher 3. Stage/Time Set Induction (5 minutes)

Content Elicit pupils responses by showing pictures (teachers questions) :a) What can you see in the picture?

Activities 1.The teacher shows a picture 2. Teacher asks oral questions pertaining to the picture shown. 3.Pupils answer the questions verbally

Presentation (20 minutes)

Demonstration The Big Book approach

1.Teacher talks about the cover of the story book with the pupils 2. Teacher reads the story while pointing to the words being read 3. Teacher reads the story the second time but the task of pointing the words is given to the good pupils 4. The class reads the entire text together according to their group

1. Teacher will give a crossword for the pupils 2. The pupils need to find the missing words with guidance from the teacher
