The trends of spending leisure time
at home and having smaller, longer-lived families has encouraged consumers to add pets and lavish money
on them as well. A pet product category that once characterized by the word
care has lately evolved into a lifestyle
segment. Apparel, food and comfort
of the human ostensibly in charge of
the household. More now than previously, pets occupy a central place in
everyday life, special occasions and
even entertaining and, as a result, the
products devoted to them have become
more conspicuous and expressive.
In this environment, Kathy Ireland
Worldwide has signed a deal with
Worldwise, for a solutions-based home
dcor friendly pet product line. Under
the brand name kathy ireland Loved
Ones, the pet product collection, which
still is under development, will debut at
the Global Pet Expo.
