preparation

the work
run the E220 1irmware Update 2i+ard until datacard is detected and cancel it. your e220 will be detected more easily by '( #') *naly+er.

run '( #') *naly+er, choose '(ommunication' 3 'Use (om4U)# 5ort'. a ''( (om 0iag 2indow' will appear. test your connection. 1. set your )erial (om 5ort 6,7 5( U8 8nterface, not the other one9 2. click ')end (md'

you'll get ')uccessfully send command.' and output similiar to the te&tbo&. 8f you got no response at all 6no output or '(ommError'9, you ha:e to restart the process. set ';ead E1)' from )tandard <ode dropdown menu, click '.ets go'. name the file 6efs.bin9, sa:e it.

open sa:ed file with he& editor, search for following he&3chain= /,3$"32(300, and you should see the unlock code.

run E220 )im.ock_Un.ock.e&e, enter your unlock code.
