Hello and a very good morning to everyone.

Before I begin this speech, I would like to give my thanks to all of you here for giving me a chance to talk about various self development programs that are offer in our organization. First of all, I would like to introduce myself. My name is ue !llen binti "a#imin and I am from $evelopment and %raining $epartment. I am your %raining Manager and I have been working with this organization for &' years now. (ecently, I)ve been transferred to this department where my #ob is to educate and help the department or group work in our company to learn how to manage change effectively. In addition, we provide consultation to the group that aims to reconceptualize their work goals, develop new work systems or rearrange individual function. *s a result, employee groups may work together to develop training agendas, reevaluate service delivery systems, or collaborate on interdepartmental or interdivisional pro#ects. *s we all know, our organization is going forward to become one of the successful business company in this recent year, and to make this things happen, we need your fully contribution in this organization because I believe that e+cellent performance as a team is the key to be successful in our organization. If we talk about a good brand, ,uality must be in our mind. /e are thinking about the ,uality. %hat is why we have 01' degree feedback at every end of the year to evaluate personal performance throughout the year. Besides that, it is a good program to make sure your performance will be increase every year. 2lus, it will help you to keep improve your working ,uality. organization is critically important. ince the 01' degree feedback also allows your colleagues to give their opinion about yourself, so your relation with the other employee in this

.ther than that, you need to make sure that you are already done your work brilliantly and the most important thing is to help each other and break the boundaries by collaborating with the others department in our organization. I believe when you done these things, your 01' degree feedback at the end of the year will be e+cellent. %here will be a good feedback from your other colleagues regarding your attitude at work and your working ,ualities. For e+ample, I will give you a simple situation between arah and 3ack. arah and 3ack work in the same company. arah is doing her #ob brilliantly but she has a poor attitudes. he never helps her colleagues and she does not have a good public relationship, while 3ack is average in his work but he always participate task and cooperate with his colleagues. *t the end of the year, who do you think will have a good feedback once the 01' degrees feedback announce4 /e can see brilliant performance in arah)s working ,uality but her attitude will bring her nowhere. It will not help her to improve in this organization. 3ack surely will receive a good feedback from his colleagues because he practices a good teamwork in his organization. %hus, we must work as a team #ust like 3ack did with his organization. *s (ossana -ondoleo 56'&07 said, be open to new thought, to new people, to new principles, to new ideas, to new e+periences8 9!/ make us grow. %hat is the main important things from this 01' degree feedback that our organization does every year. .ther than that, there is another program that we always want it to be in our culture and to be include in this organization. It is called mentoring and coaching. %his is the effective way to share your e+periences within this organization and at the same time improving yourself together as a worker especially for the new employees. %hat is why we recommend this program by combining the senior and #unior employees to work and to share their knowledge together. For the new staff, this is a good practical learning as you can gain more information and there is someone who will guide you to do your #ob correctly. In addition, it make thing goes easier for you to adapt in a new working environment and feeling comfortable with. "adies and gentleman, tephen (. -ovey 5&::&7 once said treat a man as he is and he will remain as he is, treat a man as he can and should be and he will become as he can and should be. %hus, I want you to perform good in our organization and never stop learning because gaining more e+periences and knowledge will improve you as a person and a worker. %hat is the

main reason we want this mentoring and coaching to be in our culture so that every employee takes benefit from each other for the company success. I will give you another e+ample. *zman is a new employee in our organization. He is #ust graduated from local university and this is his first #ob. He also has been given the formal training and a guide book on how to do his #obs. 9ow he is ready to perform his first task in the office. But when he starts doing his task, he never e+pects it)s different from what he has been reading and trained. "et say there is an error about the system and he needs help to do the task given to him and because of that, he keen to seek for his superior for help. %his will disturb his superior time with so many things that he need to settle with. %hat)s the point when we need mentoring and coaching to guide *zman to perform his task. It will minimize the error of the new employee while improving the ,uality of work for them. In other words, he seeks to provide a safe environment where the mentoree shares whatever issues affect his professional and personnel success. *lthough specific learning goals or competencies may be used as a basis for creating the relationship, its focus beyond these areas to include things such as work balance, self;confidence, self;perception, and how the personnel influences the professional. *bove all of this, we also provide you with formal training which is held every year as a refresher for the employees. %his is a very good training session because we can share about your problem in doing your task in this organization and we find the best solution to solve the problem. %his is the session where we give you the guidance on doing your task and introduce you with the new system that you not really familiar with. /e will give training on how to do your #ob in proper way and this will reduce the error made by the employees. It)s a part of learning since everyday in our life, we will always learn something new because we don)t want you to limit yourself in everything you done right now. %here always something to improve with your performance and we will be here to guide you into this level. "ike Maurice <oung clearly says, to become master at any skill, it takes the total effort of your heart, mind and soul working together in tandem. %his formal training is so essential in our organization because it is the most effective way for ongoing education an ongoing responsibility of one person in the department. It will keep the entire staff member about current policies, procedures and the technology used in

the department. %herefore, a continuous effort must be placed on reminding the staff about various procedures and concept. .ne ,uestion that is important to answer is, do we want the program to enhance the skills of the associate or do we want to help the associate with personnel development4 If the desired outcome is simply to enhanced skills with no personnel development, the department will have a staff that simply know how to do their #ob a little better. /hile that is a positive outcome that we want in this organization to think outside the bo+ and will design a program that allow and even encourages, critical thinking and problem solving. "adies and gentleman, with this entire program, we believe that we can enhance our employee performance within self development program but the main important thing is, everything lies within yourself to improve for organization benefit. !verybody in this room will contribute in our organization to be successful and to achieve that, we need to be trusted person. /e believe everyone want to work with someone they can trust. It builds confidence for them to do business with you and easy for them to give to you the responsibility for you to accomplish. %herefore I want to introduce to you these = ways to keep improving for betterment of this organization. %he first one is seamless. I want all the employees to break down internal boundaries and be consistent in the way we work. -ollaboration between divisions or department. /e do not working alone in this organization, we working as a team and that why we need to collaborate with other department for the betterment of our organization. By the time we break the boundaries, we will have that consistency in the way we work and think in big picture. /e can look beyond our own area in delivering the end;to;end solution. %here)s nothing we cannot do as a team. econdly, is to understand. For you to understand, you need to listen, comprehend and recognize the needs and re,uirement of the people we do business with. *lways know your facts, validate it and never assume. /hen you do this, you can minimize your error on doing your task and its will not waste your time to do #ustification when you are doing something wrong. <ou need to learn to listen properly and don)t #ust #ump to conclusion because we want to understand the situation in order to provide the right solution in our daily task. /e do things better when we

truly understand on what we will be doing. %hat is how you plan how to do your #ob better and find a way to do it in a faster way. *nd now it)s the time for us to be (ight. It)s about to provide precise information and solution all the time. In this business there is no way for you to give wrong information that can cost this organization. 2ay attention to details provided and get things done right, first time every time. %hat)s how we want you to work to strive the betterment of this organization. /hen we do the right things the outcome will always be positive and this will boost ourselves performance in term of working ,uality. Fourth, I want to emphasize about being Fast. In this growing and more competitive industry, we need to be fast in order to compete with other organization and to be number one for this company. .ne step forward from our competitor can give us more opportunity to strive for successful. %hat)s why we need to be more pro;active, anticipate and respond ,uickly in resolving all issues and re,uest. $on)t wait, #ust do it> 9ever waste your time on doing your work. Manage your time to complete your work before the deadline so that you can have more time to do #ustification when errors occur. %his give e+tra miles in doing your task by being pro; active, anticipate and act before being asked. %his is the best attitude that must have by our staff in this organization. "astly ladies and gentleman, make it easy. I know in this intense organization, the level of tension on every staff is really high. But simplify and make thing hassle free for ourselves. If things are complicated then simplify them. %here always another way to solve any problem within our work. /hen you do this, it)s automatically hassle free for people to do business with us. %ry doing more with less. It)s the best way to keep out the tension and working stress from us. %hus, I believe with this five main attitude, we will develop as an e+cellent employee and grow up together as a better person for this lovely organization. It is our responsibility to bring this company towards great future ahead depending on how we do and participate as a team and individual great performance. /hen everybody performs this attitude, nothing we cannot achieve together.

In conclusion my dear colleagues, I do hope we can get benefits from the program that this organization offers for their employees. Maybe we have been wondering to ourselves why we all need all of this4 Forget about being the number one organization and successful company. %he main thing is to be trusted brand with singular identity and to establish market competitive advantage. /hen this thing happens, then we can think to be a successful organization. !verything is depend on our best performance as a person and in a group because we need to grow up together to achieve big things in future. Hopefully my speech can boost your confidence and freshen up your mind about your responsibility in this company and try to apply this attitude towards yourself. /e in development and training department will always guide you to improve yourself in term of working ,uality.
