taste and see

Mothering Sunday 30th March 10.30 am


Mothering Sunday will be a special one this year. Using the format of "taste and see" we will have an opportunity to explore together the story of the "widows offering". This can be explored through arts & craft, drama, a talk, a time of reflection or discussion.

Easter Baptisms
We are looking forward to holding some baptisms as part of our Easter Sunday celebrations this year. This is always a fabulous occasion, so if you are considering baptism, or would like to know more, please do contact Will, Donna or the church office

breathe
This evening sees the launch of our exciting new service, breathe. It will be an opportunity to experience a Spirit-filled time of worship, teaching and ministry when we can take our time to hear from God and share and practise using the gifts of the Spirit. We would love you to join us.

Lent Reflection

PCC Meeting
Our next PCC meeting is this Monday at the Trinity Centre at 8.00pm. Please make sure that Will has any apologies or agenda items by the end of today.

Funeral
The funeral of Ivan Ratnayakes mum, Shanthie, is taking place in Bandon Hill Cemetery, Plough Lane at 10.30 am on Friday 21st March. All welcome to come and support the family.

Parenting Course
Sarah Miller and Sue Bosley are planning to run a parenting course for parents of children aged 5-11. It starts on Wednesday 30th April at 7.45pm in the youth zone at the Phoenix Centre. More details soon or talk to Sarah & Sue

Sunday 16th
This morning we are very pleased to welcome our archdeacon, Chris Skilton, to Springfield. Chris moved from being the archdeacon of Lambeth to being archdeacon of Croydon last year and has been a keen supporter of our Xtend project with St Paul's Brixton.
