Details of Award of Contract (A) Main Power Block: For execution of Main Power Block on EPC basis, LoA issued on M/s BHEL.on 10.03.2008. (B)Balance of Plants: For execution of Balance of Plant on EPC basis, LOA issued on M/s McNally Bharat Engg. (MBEL), Kolkata on 3/4/2010.

Expenditure Details: Plan -Equity 639.74 PFC Debt 2401.00 Rs in Crore Total 3040.74

6. Status of Statutory / Non-Statutory Clearances All Statutory / Non-Statutory Clearances have been obtained. Land available for Plant & equipments.130 Hect.land for Ash bund and 0.87 Hect. Private land at Ghoradongri near railway siding for construction of Railway line has been acquired. 7. Progress of Works (I)Main Power Block-

Unit # 10 - COD has been achieved on 18.08.13 at 00.00 hrs. Completion of balance work of unit # 10 is in progress. Unit # 11 - Unit synchronised (on coal) first time on 23.12.13 at 05.35 hrs. Full load achieved on 25.12.13 at 19.54 hrs. Further works for achieving COD is under progress.
Supply of Structural steel (total 15801 MT) completed. Fabrication of 15425 MT and Erection of 15365 MT out of total quantity 15400 MT steel structure completed for unit 10&011. Around 7630 MT Boiler erection & 3536 MT ESP erection of unit 11 has been completed so far. Completion of balance work of unit # 11 is in progress. (II) BoP PackageRW System /PT Plant/DM Plant/CW System/Clarified Water System / Switch Yard/ Chimney/ NDCT/CHP/AHP/ Ash Dyke/ Oil Dyke/ Hydrogen plant:- System commisioned for both units. Balance works are under progress.

Fabrication and Erection work: Against total quantity of 12037 MT, 11778 MT fabrications & 11984 MT erection works completed. Ash water recovery system:- Civil/Mechanical work under progress. ETP :- Mechanical/Electrical work in progress. STP :- Finishing work in electrical room in progress. Earthling grid work completed. III) Railway siding:- OHE-S&T work- ESP approval granted by Central Railway. CR Nagpur has agreed to take up the work on deposit basis.The total amount of Rs 29.10 Cr till date is deposited to CR Nagpur towards OHE & S&T as deposit work for Sarni in plant and Ghoradongri yard. Estimates approved by CR, Mumbai.Tender floated on 26.11.13 by C.R Railway Nagpur for OHE-S & T work. Same has been opened on 06.01.14 and is under process, order in March14.
