School’s Annual Report 2008-2009

Life is queer with its twists and turns,

Primary Department

Children are like buds of flower

Nourish them with good thoughts
Feed them on quality education
And they would turn into a valley of flowers.

With hundreds of scholars engaged in study, research and

development today, vast amount of new knowledge are being added
to our already existing fund of human knowledge. In the primary
department we use various innovative methods to make the teaching
and learning process more joyful.
To inculcate the wonderful habit of reading, we devise various
strategies to motivate children to devote time to extra reading.

In environmental studies children not only learn about the

environment but also learn through it. We also aim to teach children
to learn for the environment. They are involved in many surveys and
projects like Project Nutrition, Nature Walk etc.

At primary level, we give budding mathematicians the freedom to

solve a problem in a variety of ways and see the inter relationships
between maths and other subjects. Pattern activities, number cards,
mapping skills, origami activities etc. help create such an
environment.

We have introduced Yoga classes in primary section which plays an

important role in development of physical and mental health.

The school believes that every child has a lot of potential. Thus
special assemblies are organized to provide opportunities to children
to showcase their talents.

Various excursions and educational trips, exhibitions etc. are

organized from time to time to prepare our children for life.

Our tiny tots are no less. They have been participating in various
competitions at the inter school level and have won many prizes for

E-club
And finally, a special mention about the school's E-club where ‘E’ stands
for Education and Expression. Courageously initiated
by a few enthusiasts, this club tries to open a new vista in the school's
curriculum by bridging the gap between literacy and education. With the
advent of e-learning and e-blogging, teachers and students of our school
have found a great platform through internet to learn and share outside
the confines of a classroom and the liberty to express their thoughts and
opinions . The club also maintains the school's blog i.e.
www.crpfpsrohini.blogspot.com , reporting about everything that happens
in the school. The club celebrated the blog’s First Anniversary this year
on 18 May, and released the introductory issue of their journal BLACK
BOARD.

“You've done it before and you can do it now. See the positive
possibilities. Redirect the substantial energy and turn it into positive,
effective, unstoppable determination.”

To implement our ideology we rely on an education system that releases

capacities, develops analytical abilities, boost confidence, will power and
goal setting competencies and instills the vision that will enable children
to become self motivating agent of learning. We believe in providing
children an environment conducive to learn joyfully and meaningfully
without the burden of content oriented curriculum.

To sensitize the children about the environment we have an Eco Club in

the school.
