TEACHING, LEARNING AND EVALUATION RELATED ACTIVITIES Brief Explanation: Based on the teachers self-assessment, API scores are

proposed for (a) teaching related activities; (b) domain knowledge; (c) participation in examination and evaluation; (d) contribution to innovative teaching, new courses etc. (e) co-curricular (f) extension activities (g) professional development related contributions. The API score required by teachers is 100 for annual increment from the two preceding semesters. PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF INCREMENT FORM 1. The faculty have to fill in the required Pro-forma for increment by providing information for the last two semesters. 2. The submissions of all data must be precise, crisp and tabulated in A5 sheet. 3. All the sheets submitted must be signed by the respective faculty. 4. The table has to be submitted with suitable supporting documents to the HOD. 5. The HOD has to assess the submitted Performa, enter the marks in the table, sign it and hand over all the assessment forms to the Director. 6. The Director after verifying the assessed form, has to discuss about the performance of the respective faculty in person with them and get it signed by the faculty and send it to the HR Section of the Registrars Office. 7. The Head of the Departments will be assessed by the Directors of the respective schools and by the Vice Chancellor. 8. The Directors will be assessed by the Vice Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor will forward the assessed forms only to the HR Section. 9. The HR Section of the Registrars office will do the final scrutiny of the assessment forms and present it to the HR Committee.
