Zombies in The Rules With No Name Or a Fist Full of Zombies These rules are pretty straight forward and

I like the way they work. They sort of circum ent some of the rules from the game! but not in a way that changes the fla our of the game. I prefer the slow mo ing "Romero Zombies# which can be killed by head shots to the newer faster cra$y $ombies. %o the rules reflect that &o ement. I try to put my $ombies on either the same card so the whole horde mo es at once! or on two or three cards with multiple $ombies on each card. 'ou will want it that way or the $ombies are sort of useless. Zombies mo e like citi$ens %hooting. Well they can not shoot! howe er they can be shot. Work out the shot as usual! but when rolling for location you ha e to change the chart a bit. (ead )*+ gra$e no effect,- gra$e knocked down .*/ dead 0hest )*- no mo e ) turn .*/ knocked down 1ut ) gra$e no effect +*. no mo e ) turn 2 knocked down / split in half. Zombie is knocked down as its upper half is separated from its lower half. The upper half can mo e ) d/3+ and attacks at )d/ 4rms )*. no effect 2*/ knocked down 5egs )*- no effect .*/ knocked down 4s you can see $ombies are hard to kill! but you can slow them down. Which is the best you can really hope for in most cases. &elee. If you win the melee you are assumed to ha e smashed its head so all wounds go to that location! making this the best way to kill $ombies. Well sort of. When attacking $ombies the non $ombie player calculates their dice as usual. Zombies get - dice each in a melee. (OW676R unlike "80s# the $ombies can pool dice when ganging up on characters. %o if you fight one $ombie they one - dice! + $ombies get /! - $ombies get 9. you can see where the situation will :uickly get out of hand for a 80 if they decide to chop up a horde of $ombies. If the $ombies win the first round of combat they "pin# the 80. (e is caught in a horde of groping! clawing hands. It is the second round that will get deadly If you are still caught the second round $ombies will begin to bite. a melee is fought again! howe er the 80 is at half dice to reflect is helpless position. If the $ombies win each win is a bite. - bites kills out right. This continues until the $ombies are all dead or the 80 is dead. If the $ombies die and the 80 gets away bitten but not dead! roll a d/ ;-. in that many turns he will become a $ombie. If he is bitten twice its <ust d/ turns.

I think these rules work! but need some play testing and you guys will make e=cellent guinea pigs. 5et me know how it works out. %ome strategies 'ou will find this ery fatal for 80s. The cowboys ha e to be pretty skilled to make the kills unless they fight in &elee! but as you can see that is dangerous. The best thing I ha e seen is to do like they do in mo ies. 1et behind some serious co er and shoot. Try to straggle the groups of $ombies out so that when you do go to melee there are a manageable number of them. It takes time for them to stand up once knocked down. 4ttacking them on the ground is ad isable. 4nyway you can change anything that you don>t think works and let me know what you think
