Introduction
The Aastra 67xxi SIP Phones have a very high interoperability level with both the Open Source and Digium Business Edition of Asterisk. Asterisk Open Source Edition:
The phones are compatible with Asterisk 1.6 which is the last stable major release.

Digium Business Edition:

Aastra has a Premier Interoperability Partner Agreement with Digium; this is Digium's top-level interop partner level.

Aastra provides a collection of scripts for the integration of the Aastra 67xxi phones with Asterisk / FreePBX. The scripts are provided as open source. Highlighted features:
