it takes a crew of team members
to make this ministry function
properly. All of our volun-
teers love to serve the Lord by

Awana Clubs is where each

Primetimers are gener-
ally people whose children are
grown and are proud grandpar-
ents. For many, Christmas is a
joyous time when families get
together (often at grandmaʼs
house) for a great meal and gift
exchange.
The question always aris-
es: “What am I going to give my
mom, dad, grandma or grandpa?
They have everything! Most of
sinners. “This is a faithful say-
ing, and worthy of all accepta-
tion, that Christ Jesus came into
the world to save sinners...” But
could it be this is only a noble
act on the part of Jesus? I mean,
does Jesus solely hold the capa-
bility to reunite man with God,
or is it possible that someone
else could hold this capability as
well? For instance, what about
Jesusʼ earthly parents: Joseph or
Mary, or maybe one of Jesusʼ half
brothers or sisters. Can someone
other than Jesus, stand as our
representative before God. The
scripture says, “For there is one
God, and one mediator between
God and men, the man Christ Je-
sus;”
This message is the
heartbeat of Mill Road Baptist
Church, and life to those we are
able to reach. “For we preach not
ourselves, but Christ Jesus the

When I think about what
I dislike the most, my mind leads
me to the morning. I awaken
usually to the feeling of some
rough, wet “thing” slithering
across my face that has the smell
of—dog biscuits? My dog loves
the morning and seems to live
for that hour every day. Her tail
wags and she says hello in (what
seems to her) the best way pos-
sible. A good lick on the face!
YUCK!!!
After awaking, and wash-
ing my face of course, I look in
my mirror. I see the imperfec-
tions of my face and hair and I
am reminded that I must change
a few things about my appear-
ance.
The year is quickly end-
ing and I see this past year and
the coming one like peering into
a mirror. I see the wonderful
things that have happened this
past year and how thankful I am
that God has been at work in
our lives. I see the number of

There are a lot of things
competing for our time, more so
today than ever before, especial-
ly during the Christmas season.
Our response to those beckon-
their extended family. Let us be
careful not to overlook anyone.
Letʼs make sure that we express
our love and provide the friend-
ship that others need.
Our next Primetime Fel-
lowship is Wednesday, January
5th at 10 AM. We are planning
teens that God has added to the
group. I also see the teens that
have come to know Christ as
their Savior and have been bap-
tized. God has truly blessed us
with growth both physically and
spiritually.
I am also reminded in
James 1 that the word of God is
like a mirror and as we look into
the word of God we must change
that which needs fixing. For this
coming year, we must look at our
life and see where we are. None
of us are perfect. (I know that
may come as a shock to some of
you so take a sip of hot cocoa and
relax.) God tells us in Romans
3:10, “As it is written, there is
none righteous, no, not one.” The
Christian life must be one that is

be content where you are. Make
